Last start was extremely well backed travelled 4 wide without cover for the entire trip and then knuckled down impressively in the final stages to score against Tactical Advantage! Jumps up 4kg here, but this is not harder than last start and should get more favours here.

Resuming here for Hayes & Dabernig stable after a disappointing end to last prep albeit in harder races. Think the spell will have done wonders for her and she will outclass them first up here (beat home Shoals first up last prep too!). Loves the valley and should get a gun run behind the leaders.

2 wins in as many starts and was hampered last start which cost him a few lengths. Hit the line strongly in both of his wins and looks like he will appreciate the extra distance this start. Experienced rider Jamie Kah is a huge positive

Can’t say I’d recommend a win bet here at the price, but this filly is a superstar in the making! Made a mess of them last start when wide throughout and think she’ll win easily here! Future G1 star.

EAGLE BAY ($7.00)
No knock on the favourite here, but looks a touch short and never tested on a softer track (if it gets to that). Eagle Bay has a terrific record with the sting out of the ground (5: 2-1-1 on soft) and gun jockey James McDonald should be able to give this a great run from barrier 5. Will take massive improvement from his first up run.
