Aristia from the Ellerton/Zahra stable has showed a lot of ability in her four starts and hasn’t finished worse than fourth in her career. First-up last preparation she finished second behind a smart colt that ran in the Vain Stakes on Saturday.
She was runner-up in a G3 over 1200m at her last start and looks like she could go one better here. Lindsay Parks’ short-priced favourite Ronan’s Rock is the one to watch.

Fighting Harada should have won here last start but managed to get caught in traffic in a four-horse field and made his run too late. The step out to 1400m suits, but barrier one is the only worry. He jumped and lead the whole trip when breaking his maiden at Geelong over 1419m so if he can do that again here, he will just win.
Tip: Fighting Harada $2.05 win
Warwick Farm R6
Bull Market from the Snowden yard is backing up from Canterbury last Wednesday where he was strong to the line for third in a 1200m BM78. After two good runs this preparation, he will be rock hard fit, and he relishes the 1400m.
The other horse that looks to be a strong chance is Chris Waller’s Impasse who has won his last two starts. His last win was over this track and distance and was very impressive. He is five runs in and is coming back after three weeks off but Waller is a master at managing horses and while this is a slight step up in grade, Impasse looks to be a very good chance.
