Form Guide:

The Texans come into this Friday morning clash after a dismal effort against the Jaguars. They only managed to score a single touchdown and both quarterbacks saw snaps. They've named Deshaun Watson as the starter after he replaced Tom Savage last week. But on a short week, this could spell disaster. The o-line allowed 10 sacks against the Jaguars as well.

But the Bengals were just as bad after they were held scoreless against the Ravens at home. However, they will start as a very short favourite in this game. They will look to put points on the board early and Andy Dalton surely can't give up the ball like he did last week. The Ravens forced 5 turnovers, including 4 interceptions. If the Bengals do the same this week, the Texans defence could have a field day.

Head to Head Record:

The Texans have owned the Bengals in the last few seasons as they’ve won five of the last six games. In 2016, the Texans won 12-10 at home. In 2015, they won a low scoring game, 10-6 in Cincinnati.

Point Spread:

The main points spread is just 1.5 points which means this should be close. While the Texans are 5-1 against them, the average margin in the last 6 meetings is just 7.2 points. So the Texans should be able to keep this close and cover the 7.5 point spread.Best bet: Texans +7.5 ($1.71)

This game won’t be featured in the end of season highlights as we’re tipping a low scoring game in Cincinnati. The stats say the Texans should be competitive but they have a number of injury/quarterback issues on a short week. The Bengals should rebound from last week and win this.

Green Bay Packers at Atlanta Falcons

Green Bay opened the season with a tough win against the Seahawks winning 17-9 at home. They were held scoreless in the first half but Aaron Rodgers found form in the second half as they outscored the Seahawks 17-6. In week 2, they’ll return to Atlanta where they lost in the playoffs last season by 23 points.

The Falcons scrapped past the Bears on the road last week and they’ll be ready for the Packers. Atlanta unveil their new stadium and they will be looking to make history against the Packers.

Head to Head Record:

Atlanta have won the last two meetings and they scored 44 points in the Conference Championship win last season. They also won the last game at home by a point, 33-32. The Packers haven't won in Atlanta since 2011.

Total Points:

We're expecting a high scoring game here as both quarterbacks are in there prime. Both Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers led there side to victory last week and they'll be looking to out-duel each other. In the last two meetings, the total has reached exactly 65 total points. Overall in the last 7 meetings, the total averages 56.9 points and we would expect another high scoring contest in Week 2.Best bet: Under Total Points

Tip:

Falcons WIN ($1.68)
This should be one of the best games of the Week and will likely comedown to the wire. The Falcons are opening their new stadium and we think that's enough motivation to get them over the line. The Packers were held scoreless in the first half last week and we think the Falcons will open an early lead.

Detroit Lions at New York Giants

Odds: Giants $1.57, Lions $2.48

The Giants host the Lions on Tuesday at East Rutherford, New York. We'll provide a betting preview of the game below.

Form Guide:

The Giants were poor in Week 1 as they managed just 3 points against the Cowboys. They missed Odell Beckham Jnr in the passing game and Eli Manning will be hoping he returns this week. They haven't scored over 20 points in their last 5 games and they'll most likely need to end that streak against the Lions.

Detroit made a comeback last week as they scored a 35-23 win over the Cardinals. Matthew Stafford tossed 4 touchdowns as the Lions put up 20 points in the fourth quarter. In this matchup, they’ll be looking to avenge a 11 point loss against the Giants last season.

Head to Head Record:

Since 2010, the Giants lead the head to head 3-1 and they defeated the Lions at home last season, 17-6. They also won the last clash at home back in 2010, 28-20.

Total Points:

The total points averages around 40 points between the two sides in the last four meetings. The last meeting reached just 23 points and if the Giants play like last week, the under total is the best bet.Best bet: Under Total Points

Tip:

Lions WIN ($2.48)
The Giants are the favourites as they have a good record against the Lions at home. But after last week, the Lions are looking the goods for the upset. Matt Stafford is hot after 4 touchdown passes and the Giants will likely struggle to score points. We're backing the Lions here.
