2024/2025 NBA Playoffs May 10 Betting Predictions
The Pacers are back at home in Game 3 and looking to go 3-0 against the #1 seeded Cavs. Meanwhile, the Thunder and Nuggets are tied 1-1, making Game 3 a massive clash. Here is a preview of both games with same game multi NBA predictions too.
Cleveland Cavaliers at Indiana Pacers (IND leads series 2-0)
The Eastern Conference Semifinals head to Indiana for Game 3, with the Pacers holding a 2-0 lead over the top-seeded Cavaliers. Cleveland’s coming off a heartbreaker at home, falling 120-119 in a game that saw Donovan Mitchell explode for 48 points and Max Strus chip in with 23. Despite those big performances, the Cavs are now on a two-game skid and face the pressure of bouncing back on the road.
They’ve gone 3-2 in their last five and are 4-2 overall in the playoffs, but they’ll need to dig deep to avoid falling into a 3-0 hole. Can Mitchell carry them again, or will Indiana keep the momentum rolling at home?
The Pacers are riding high heading into Game 3, up 2-0 in the series and on a four-game winning streak. They edged out the Cavs 120-119 on the road last time out, with Aaron Nesmith and Myles Turner both dropping 23 points to lead the charge. Indiana’s been on fire lately, winning four of their last five and posting an impressive 6-1 record so far in the playoffs.
As the 4th seed in the East, they’ve been playing like true contenders, and with the home crowd behind them, they’ve got a real shot at pushing Cleveland to the brink.
Stadium Record
Indiana are 8-1 SU in its last 9 games at home. Cleveland are 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games when playing on the road against Indiana.
Head to Head Record
In the last 10, the Pacers are 7-3.
Best Bet
The Cavs are road favourites and that's interesting considering the Pacers 2-0 lead. So the Pacers at the line is worth a play, but I prefer the Over. The Over is 4-1 in this matchup and the Cavs are now 6-1 against the Over in their last 7.

Taking the Pacers to cover at home, they're 6-2 ATS and 8-1 in their last 9 home games. Nembhard has 6, 6 and 13 assists in his last 3 games, 5+ assists looks like a safe bet.
Over 226.5 / Pacers +3.5 / Andrew Hembhard 5+ assists = $4.30
Oklahoma City Thunder at Denver Nuggets (Game 3, Series tied 1-1)
The Thunder are rolling into Game 3 with some serious momentum after absolutely dismantling the Nuggets 149-106 in Game 2. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was unstoppable, dropping 34 points on a scorching 84.6% shooting, while Jalen Williams added 17 points and 7 assists.
OKC has now won four straight and sits at 5-1 in the playoffs, showing why they’re the top seed in the West. With the series tied 1-1 and shifting to Denver, the Thunder will be looking to keep the pressure on and steal one on the road.
The Nuggets are heading into Game 3 looking to bounce back after getting blown out 149-106 by the Thunder in Game 2. It was a rough night all around, with Nikola Jokic held to just 17 points on 37.5% shooting and Russell Westbrook putting up 19 points in a losing effort.
Denver’s now 5-4 in the playoffs and has gone 3-2 over their last five, so they’ll need a strong response at home to regain control of the series. As the 4th seed in the West, the Nuggets know they can't afford another off night against a red-hot OKC squad.
Stadium Record
Denver are 4-1 SU in its last 5 games at home. Oklahoma City are 8-1 ATS in its last 9 games when playing on the road against Denver.
Head to Head Record
The Thunder have won 6 of the last 10 meetings.
Best Bet
Game 2 wasn't much of a contest so hopefully the Nuggets can pick themselves up at home in Game 3. Ultimately, I like the Over in this matchup too after a massive total in Game 2. The Over is now 4-1 when these two sides play each other and 5-0 in the Nuggets last 5 games.

Shai has 8 assists in back to back games and has hit 8+ in 3 of his last 5. Westbrook has scored 16, 18 and 19 pts in his last 3 games, so he's firing off the bench.
Over 233.5 pts / Westbrook 15+ pts / Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 8+ assists = $6.00
