English Premier League Matchweek 10 Betting Preview

Liverpool vs Tottenham

Both of these sides only managed a draw in their last league games, disappointing both sets of fans.

In Europe, Liverpool will be coming off a 4-1 win over Belgian side Genk while Spurs will be hoping to build on their 5-0 win over Red Star Belgrade.

Last week Liverpool dropped their first points of the season against rivals Manchester United but still sit six points clear of second place Manchester City.

Mohamed Salah is expected to return to the Premier League this weekend along with Christian Eriksen who didn’t make it off the bench against Red Star.

Tottenham are yet to win an away game this season in all competitions and Anfield will not be an easy trip for the Spurs, given the Reds haven’t lost a Premier League game at home since April, 2017.

Tottenham have won just once in the last 10 matches between these two sides, and with their shaky form Liverpool could return to their winning ways after last week’s blip.

Prediction: Liverpool to win @ $1.50

Norwich vs Manchester United

Manchester United still have a game to play before this matchup against Partizan in the Europa League and Norwich will hope for some continental hangover.

The Canaries have two wins this season against Newcastle and Manchester City despite Teemu Pukki’s early good form.

The Red Devils are another team yet to register an away win this season and out of the two Norwich is the only side with a win in their last six games.

Axel Tuanzebe is expected to return after pulling out last minute against Liverpool last week and he is likely to be joined by David de Gea who was not included in the travelling Europa League squad.

For Norwich, Ben Godfrey has confirmed that he will be fine to return after limping off the field last week.

Norwich could pick up another surprise win and apply more pressure to Solskjaer but United will be expecting another win.

Prediction: Manchester United to win @ $1.72

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace

A win for Arsenal could see them rise up to third but a loss would see Crystal Palace overtake them and join Leicester as surprise inclusions in the top five.

Arsenal still have a midweek game against Portuguese side Vitoria before the match but are coming off a 0-1 loss to Sheffield United last week.

Arsenal could see several players return to the first team after injuries while other will return in their Europa League game.

Palace have only scored eight goals in the last nine weeks of the competition while conceding 10 compared to Arsenal’s 13 and 12.

Both sides lost their last league game and both will be eager for the points on offer, but the Gunners will fancy themselves to bounce back.

Prediction: Arsenal to keep a clean sheet @ $2.40
