Week 15 of the NFL starts with the two best sides by record in the AFC. On Friday, the 11-2 Chiefs will face the 10-3 Chargers as they battle for the AFC West title. With injuries and the Kareem Hunt situation, the Chiefs have won their last 2 games but not convincingly. Up against the Ravens at home last week, they survived in Overtime by a field goal. Previously, they conceded 33 points against the Raiders on the road. The LA Chargers are coming to KC with a 3 game winning streak and they have won 5 of 6 on the road this season. Coming into this season's matchup, both sides are not in the best of form. The Patriots were sloppy against the Dolphins last week and it hurt them on the scoreboard in a 34-33 defeat. They've been a poor road team all season with a 3-4 record as well. Meanwhile, the Steelers are ridding a 3 game losing streak and need to find form quickly or they could be playing for a wildcard spot soon. Last week, they went down to the Raiders in Oakland 24-21. The feature game on the Monday schedule will see the 11-2 LA Rams take on the struggling 6-7 Eagles. This is a must win game for the Eagles if they're looking to make the playoffs in 2018. Last week, the Cowboys just beat them in Overtime which snapped a 2 game winning streak. In their favour this week is a good recent record against the Rams. Last season, they beat them at this venue 43-35, which was also the game where Carson Wentz injured his knee. As expected, the Rams struggled to get going against the Bears elite D last week in a 15-6 loss. Jared Goff isn't having a great time under centre at the moment as he tossed 4 interceptions last week. But Goff should return to form as he faces the Eagles pass defence. They allow the 3rd most passing yards per game this season and Dak Prescott threw for 400+ yards last week. Which should mean this game is going to be high scoring as the Eagles offence will need to pass often. At this venue in 2018, the Rams have won all 5 games and they're averaging 34.4 points per game. This will be their 3rd straight road game and they should be confident because they hold a 6-1 record in their last 7 away from New Orleans. Carolina should be desperate for a win because their season is looking over at this point. They held a 6-2 record in Week 9 but have now lost 5 straight games and have a 6-7 record to show for it. Last week, they lost in Cleveland 26-20 and previously at home, the Seahawks beat them 30-27. This will be the first meeting of the season and since the two sides met in the playoffs last season. The Saints won a close affair 31-26, which made it 3 straight wins over the Panthers. So looking at the current form guide between the two teams, it's hard to see the Panthers getting within the line. As mentioned, they've lost 5 in a row and will be low on confidence.
