Euro 2020 | Italy vs Wales | BlueBet

Euro 2020: Italy ($1.44) vs Wales ($8) – 21st June @2am

Group A’s two undefeated teams will face each other at 2am Monday to decide who will top the group and get an easier path in the knockout stages.

Italy’s Euro 2020 has been flawless so far, beating both Turkey and Switzerland 3-0. Once again, they return to Rome’s Stadio Olimpico which has become a fortress for the Azzurri.

Wales themselves remain unbeaten, defeating Turkey 2-0 in a thoroughly deserved win, after drawing their opening match with Switzerland. The Welshmen could top Group A with victory over Italy, but even losing by less than 3 goals would mean that they would qualify second in the group.

Italy manager Roberto Mancini might be tempted to rest captain Giorgio Chiellini after he picked up a knock against Switzerland.

Meanwhile, Wales aren’t expected to make any major changes after their emphatic victory of Turkey.

Players to Watch

Gareth Bale: He might be almost 32 years old, but Bale is still Wales’ best player. He was fantastic in his country’s 2-0 win over Turkey, despite missing a penalty. He supplied a sublime ball to Aaron Ramsey to set up Wales’ first goal, before the captain skipped past Turkish defenders with ease to assist for their second.

Manuel Locatelli: This is fast becoming a breakout tournament for the Sassuolo midfielder. He was different gravy against Switzerland, becoming only Italy’s third player in history to score a brace at the Euros, including a goal from outside the box.

Key Stats

  • Italy have scored 30 goals since they have last conceded
  • Wales have only lost once in their last six matches

Best Bets
