Manchester City vs. West Ham – Thursday February 28, 7:00am

Manchester City are at home against West Ham in a second vs. ninth battle.

The Hammers are coming off their own impressive 3-1 win over Fullham at London Stadium. Injured Centre back Fabian Balbuena is racing the clock to be fit for the trip to Etihad Stadium despite re-joining the team at training.

West Ham responded to three-straight defeats by winning their last three, including a draw against Liverpool. However, they have conceded in each of their last three and will need to defend better against the Sky Blues.

In their last meeting in November, City emerged 4-0 victors at home as Leroy Sane netted two goals.

Chelsea vs. Tottenham – Thursday February 28, 7:00am

Tottenham make the trip to Stamford Bridge to meet Chelsea as two of the league’s top six teams go head-to-head.

The Blues managed to keep City scoreless for 120 minutes in their EPL Cup loss but were ultimate outclassed in penalties.

It has been a bumpy ride for Chelsea recently, winning just three of their last seven matches overall. Maurizio Sarri was reportedly given the EPL Cup and this clash with the Spurs to prove he deserves to keep his job; therefore, changes could be imminent at the club if they fail in this one.

Tottenham had won their previous three premier league matches prior to falling to Burnley on the road 1-2.

Mauricio Pochettino’s title hopes have suddenly hit a road block, sitting six points behind Liverpool and will need all three points against Chelsea.

Last time these sides met in the Football League Cup semi-final in January, the Blues walked away with a win in penalties.
