EPL Betting Preview & Tips | September 27-28

West Bromwich Albion vs. Chelsea

The Baggies will host Chelsea at The Hawthorns on Sunday, September 27 at 2:30am (all times AEST).

It hasn't been the smoothest of sailing for West Brom’s return to the top flight, conceding eight goals in their opening two fixtures. Unfortunately for the midlands club things are likely going to go from bad to worse as they face a goal-hungry Chelsea outfit in Gameweek three.

The Blues will look to put a horror showing against Liverpool behind them as they head into this weekend's clash as the outright favourites. Timo Werner is looking more and more dangerous in Frank Lampard’s attack, while fellow German recruit Kai Havertz will look to prove his worth against West Brom.

The Baggies have failed to score a single goal against a Chelsea defence since January 2016, but expect the attacking pair of Matheus Pereira and Grady Diangana to cause all kinds of headaches for an out-of-form Kepa.

Tip: Chelsea to win @ $1.33

Tottenham vs. Newcastle

The Magpies will travel to London to face Tottenham on Sunday, September 27 at 11:00pm.

The Spurs look like themselves again, literally. The club announced the return of golden child Gareth Bale on loan, while Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min ran rampant of a measly Southampton defence.

Tottenham will be hoping to have some of the same fortune turn their way as they come up against a threatening Newcastle side. The Magpies have had a rollercoaster start to their 2020/21 campaign, with a win and a loss at the hands of West Ham and Brighton respectively. Some questions remain around Newcastle's structure and it will be tested once again as they travel south to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tip: Tottenham to win @ $1.44

Liverpool vs. Arsenal

The Gunners will travel to Anfield to face Liverpool on Tuesday, September 29 at 5:00am.

Both sides will head into Matchweek three with perfect starts as the reigning champions look to add to their title defence. The Reds dealt with a lacklustre Chelsea outfit with some ease, as new recruit Thiago stunned his opponents in a 45-minute showcase of what's to come.

The Spaniard could be set for a starting debut against the Gunners, with Arsenal hoping to continue their strong start to the year. The belief is there for Mikel Arteta and his men, but they will need more than just hope to overcome this Merseyside club.

The Gunners have claimed victories in their last two contests against the Reds, with the Londoners winning the Community Shield last month and handing Liverpool a defeat late into their premiership winning campaign.

Tip: Liverpool to win @ $1.44
