EPL Betting Preview & Tips | October 24-25

Manchester United vs Chelsea

The Red Devils will welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford on Sunday, October 25 at 3:30am (All times AEDT).

Manchester United seem to have found their form in the past week, putting four past Newcastle on the weekend before taking three points against Paris St German in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The Squad looks to be clicking as the club hopes to turn around its horror start to the season with golden boy Marcus Rashford leading from the front. Ole has proven to be a menace against the big clubs and United will hope it's no different on Sunday.

The Red Devils will host Chelsea this weekend as Frank Lampard’s side looks to move on from their six-goal split thriller against Southampton. While they couldn’t come away with the three points, there were plenty of positives in the result.

Superstar recruits Timo Werner and Kai Havertz filled the scoresheet for the Blues and kept their side in the top half of the table.

Unfortunately, not much can be said for their defence following a disastrous 90 minutes for Lampard’s back third, with goalkeeper Kepa once again in the headlines for the wrong reasons.

The Saints outing was the third time this season the Blues have let in multiple goals, with that nature unlikely to hold up against a ruthless United attack this week.

Anthony Martial will miss the clash due to suspension, with injury clouds hovering over a number of key names following last weekend.

A fiery tussle will be expected as both attacks will look to take advantage of weak defences.

Tip: Both teams to score @ $1.50

Liverpool vs Sheffield United

The reigning champions host the Blades on Sunday, October 24 at 6:00am.

The Reds will move into the weekend with an extra sense of motivation following the events of the Merseyside Derby the week prior.

Star defender Virgil Van Dijk has been ruled out for the remainder of the season following an ACL injury sustained in the clash with Everton, with Jurgen Klopp’s men now having to move on from the loss of the Dutchman.

Liverpool edged by Ajax midweek in the Champions League and will now eye their weekend fixture against the19th-placed Sheffield United.

The Reds have had a torrid opening to their season, with players sidelined due to COVID-19 and a 7-2 thumping at the hands of Aston Villa added to the Van Dijk news, but they still remain balanced and in the top three.

Dropping down towards the cellar dwellers and you find the Blades. Chris Wilder has struggled to ignite the same flare that saw Sheffield fall just short of European qualification in their returning season to the top-flight last year.

The Blades are winless from their opening five games and will likely have that run extended this weekend.

A different beast from last year, but the Blades should carry the contests they put up against the Reds last season that pushed the eventual-champions to the final second.

It will be hard for Sheffield United to head home with the chocolates, with Liverpool looking as relentless as ever.

Tip: Liverpool win @ $1.25

Arsenal vs Leicester

The Foxes will travel to The Emirates on Monday, October 26 at 6:15am.

Two sides that have plenty to prove in this campaign. Whilst firmly placing themselves in the top four, Leicester have failed to convince the rest of the league that they have what it takes to go the distance.

After consecutive losses to West Ham and Aston Villa, the Foxes have fallen behind the league leaders in Everton and will now face a scrappy Arsenal outfit who will also be looking to bounce back from a league defeat the weekend prior.

Both clubs will face Europa League group stage opponents on Friday before they focus on their weekend tasks, with Leicester happily remaining in England while the Gunners travel to Austria for their continental clash.

Leicester will be without Caglar Soyuncu for an extended period while questions surround Jamie Vardy’s fitness.

For Arsenal, the club have impressed so fair this season but have failed to land points against fellow big clubs, with Leicester a true barometer of where they place this year.

The Gunners were victors the last time these two faced off, with an Eddie Nketiah strike and a Christian Fuchs own goal separating the two sides.

This time around, the clubs are certainly more balanced off the back of their respective opening months and it will be either side’s for the taking.

Tip: Both teams to score @ $1.62
