EPL Betting Preview & Tips | 13-14 December

Manchester United vs Manchester City

The first Manchester Derby of the season will be at Old Trafford on Sunday, December 13 at 4:30 am (All times AEST).

The red and blue sides of Manchester have returned to the top seven in the league and will be fighting for a place closer to the peak this weekend at Old Trafford.

United will be eyeing a third straight league victory taking all three points against Everton, West Brom, Southampton and West Ham, while City have lost just the one Premier League fixture in their last nine matches.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has endured a torrid week despite where the Red Devils sit in the EPL, with the English giants falling out of the Champions League group stages after falling to RB Leipzig.

Their attention will now turn to the local derby, a fixture they have won on the past two occasions.

City’s continental campaign has been off to a successful start however, with Pep Guardiola able to rest a number of senior players ahead of this weekend.

Striker Sergio Aguero returned to Guardiola’s lineup against Marseille midweek and will be a lively addition to City’s squad for the derby.

United are hoping to welcome back forward duo Anthony Martial and Edison Cavani for the weekend, with the latter adding a match-winning brace against the Saints in matchweek 11.

With both clubs having a game in hand over the top five, a win for either side will be vital in the premiership campaign.

Will United keep up their derby run? Or will City spoil the party away from home?

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham

The Spurs will travel to Selhurst Park on Monday, December 14 at 1:15am.

Tottenham have held onto the top spot of the table for another week after a dominant North London Derby over the Gunners last weekend.

Once again, thanks to the star pairing of Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane, the Spurs were clinical in edging past their opponent and adding another win to their tally.

This week, Tottenham will face-off with the Eagles in another London Derby, as Crystal Palace aim to move into the top half of the table.

Roy Hodgson’s men ran rampant at the Hawthorns last weekend, putting five goals past a hapless West Brom defence, with Wilfred Zaha and Christian Benteke scoring a brace each.

While the Eagles will be flying high coming off their Baggies demolition, history will be against them as they turn their attention to Tottenham for matchweek 12.

Palace have only been able to defeat the Spurs in just one of their past nine clashes, with Tottenham coming away with seven wins across that period.

The Spurs will be coming off their clash away to LASK in Austria midweek, and while they can mathematically be knocked out of the Europa League, Jose Mourinho is expected to rest several key figures ahead of their Premier League fixture.

A win this weekend will be vital for Tottenham’s title chances, as they would hold onto their perch atop the league in the build-up to their highly-anticipated match against Liverpool next Thursday.

Will the Spurs remain in top place? Or will the Eagles cause a stir at the peak of the table?

Fulham vs Liverpool

The Reds will travel to West London on Monday, December 14 at 3:30am.

The second-placed Merseysiders will move south this weekend as they face Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Liverpool have won all six of their past half-a-dozen fixtures against the Cottagers, with an aggregate score of 18-4.

Despite an ongoing onslaught of injuries, the Reds have looked comfortable in the challenges they have faced so far this season, with Fulham likely to be another victim of Jurgen Klopp’s push for a second consecutive Premier League title.

Scott Parker’s side struggled to compete with Manchester City last weekend, but it was their 2-1 victory over the Foxes a fortnight ago that sent a warning to the rest of the competition.

The Cottagers have looked a greater side in the past month, despite their record anchoring their place on the table to the bottom four, but they’ll need their very best and a touch of luck to take any points away from Liverpool.

Will the Cottagers cause an upset? Or will it be another walk in the park for the Reds?

Our Tip: Liverpool Win @ $1.30
