Norwich vs Chelsea
Fresh off their first win in the Premier League this season, Norwich will have the chance to impress in front of their home fans once again as they host Chelsea at Carrow Road.
The Canaries showed signs of life against Liverpool in their 4-1 defeat at Anfield to open the season, and were all over Newcastle last weekend, defeating them 3-1 at home, thanks to a hat-trick from star man Teemu Pukki.
Pukki has all four of the Canaries’ goals this season, and after topping the goalscoring charts in the Championship last year with 29, it looks as though the Fin has picked up straight from where he left off, and could be one of the biggest threats in front of goal this season.
Chelsea has had a rough start to the campaign under new coach Frank Lampard, with a 4-0 defeat to Manchester United on the opening weekend followed up with a home draw to Leicester.
Norwich will certainly be confident in this one, with the Blues still unable to get into a groove, and may even be good enough to take a point from Lampard’s men, which could put him under a little pressure from the fans quite early into his tenure.
Prediction: Both teams to score: Yes - $1.53
Liverpool vs Arsenal
We’re only two weeks into the season, but both Liverpool and Arsenal are the only clubs left standing with a 100% win record.
The Reds enter the clash on the back of a 4-1 win over Norwich first up, before a tough 2-1 win at Southampton. Wins over Newcastle and Burnley sees the Gunners on six points from two games, although this game represents a huge clash for both sides.
The hosts will still be without Alisson in goal after an injury during their season opener, and following Adrian’s mistake last weekend against the Saints, Arsenal will certainly look to put him under as much pressure as possible whenever they can.
Arsenal’s back four is also still a concern, with Liverpool slotting five past them back in December. The Reds are unbeaten at Anfield since April 2017, and haven’t lost to Arsenal in their past eight matches in all competitions.
No EPL fixture has seen more goals, and it’s shaping up to be another goal fest this weekend.
Prediction: Over 3.5 goals - $2.11
Bournemouth vs Manchester City
Last season’s Champions dropped their first points of the campaign last weekend, as VAR ruled out Gabriel Jesus’ last-second winner against Tottenham, meaning the two sides had to share the spoils with a 2-2 draw.
City put five past the Hammers on the opening day, and will hope to make their draw with Spurs just a little blip on the radar.
The Cherries will consider themselves unlucky as it stands, as they could easily have been on six points from six to start the season, after conceding a late equaliser to Sheffield United on the opening weekend.
A road win at Aston Villa is nothing to sneeze at, and Eddie Howe’s side will be hoping to keep their campaign rolling with a big scalp.
Pep Guardiola will be out to make amends after last week’s result, so expect City to come out firing.
Prediction: City to score in both halves - $1.53
