The Hornets welcome the Reds to Vicarage Road on Sunday at 4.30am (all times AEST).
Liverpool have made history on numerous occasions this season in arguably the most dominant campaign we’ve ever seen. And they will be looking to add to that as they search for a Premier League record of 19-straight victories in this one.
The Reds only just got past West Ham on Monday at Anfield in a come-from-behind win to equal Manchester City’s league record of 18-consecutive wins during the 2017-18 season. Liverpool also matched their club record of 21-straight home wins.
A win here would see Jurgen Klopp’s side extend their lead at the top of the table to 26 points and move within nine points of clinching this year’s title.
Watford haven’t won in six matches across all competitions, including four losses over that span. Most recently, Nigel Pearon’s side went down to Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford in Matchday 27.
The Reds won this matchup 2-0 in their last meeting in December at Anfield.
Tip: Liverpool to win @ $1.40.
The Hotspurs host the Wanderers at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday at 1:30am.
It is a clash that could have ramifications on the UEFA Champions League, especially given Manchester’s City’s potential two-year ban. Tottenham trail the fifth-placed United by a single point, while the Wolves sit just one point behind the north Londoners.
The Spurs have only won once away from home since defeating the Wolves 2-1 at Molineiux last time they met in December. Most recently, Jose Mourinho’s side fell to RB Leipzig 1-0 at home last week in the Champions League before losing to Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. Tottenham’s attack has really struggled without Heung-Min Son, while Harry Kane will miss again with a hamstring issue.
Wolverhampton are unbeaten in their last four games across all competitions, keeping clean sheets in each contest. They had an impressive 3-0 win in their home clash against Norwich City on Monday behind two goals from Diogo Jota.
Tip: Tottneham to win @ $2.37.
The Toffees and Red Devils meet at Goodison Park on Monday at 1:00am.
United are sitting fifth and it could be good enough to grant them entry to the Champions League pending on City’s ban. After a slow start to the season, Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s has shown improvement in recent times, winning four of their last six. Anthony Martial has been the key in attack during this run, scoring four goals. The Red Devils impressed in their 3-0 victory over Watford on Monday and will face off with Club Brugge in the second leg of their Europa League clash before making the trip to Everton.
The Blues are sitting in 11th place and have also stepped up their play under Carlo Ancelloti following a poor start to the season. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been on a tear in attack will put United’s defence under all sorts of pressure.
Everton were coming off consecutive victories against Watford and Crystal Palace prior to narrowly falling to Arsenal 3-2. It marked Everton’s only loss from their last six matches.
Last time these sides faced off back in December, it was a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
Tip: Draw at $3.25.
