West Ham vs Tottenham

This will be an important game for Tottenham as Jose Mourinho’s first game in charge of Spurs but the players could take a few weeks to settle into Mourinho’s tactics.

The Hammers have four losses and a draw in their last five and sit only one point behind their opposition.

For West Ham, Manuel Lanzini is ruled out after his injury in their game against Burnley and it could be touch and go as to whether Mark Noble returns after an ankle sprain. We could see returns for Jack Wilshere, Michail Antonio and Winston Reid.

Spurs could field Erik Lamela after a lengthy recovery from a thigh injury along with Tanguy Ndombele who didn’t end up playing for France over the international break.

Immediate results will be expected under a new manager, particularly Mourinho, and Tottenham have the players out there to take home a win.

Prediction: Tottenham win @ $1.72

Manchester City vs Chelsea

Chelsea have overtaken last year’s champions after six straight wins but City will be out to prove their credentials after their loss to Liverpool.

Ederson could return to the net for City but Bernardo Silva is suspended over a racist tweet at Benjamin Mendy. N’Golo Kante will return for Chelsea but they lose Christian Pulisic after a hip injury.

The international break was filled with impressive performances from Chelsea players including Fikayo Tomori’s senior debut and both Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount scoring their first for the Three Lions.

Both sides have the ability and record for scoring with City on the most goals this season. Aguero and his teammates will test Chelsea’s young defence who have conceded 17 goals in 12 games.

Both teams are fighting to keep up with Liverpool and a loss here would be a massive blow to either side’s hopes. It could be close with goals to both sides.

Prediction: Both teams to score – Yes @ $1.55

Sheffield United vs Manchester United

Sheffield has been impressive so far this season conceding only nine goals, the second lowest in the league and although they aren’t high scorers they know how to put up a fight.

The Red Devils have started to recover from their poor start with four wins from their last five games in all competitions. Although their away form could still do with improvement after their loss to Bournemouth.

The Blades will be without goalkeeper Dean Henderson, who has played all 58 of their last league games, as he is not allowed to play against his parent club in United.

Luke Shaw, Axel Tuanzebe and Nemanja Matic could all return this weekend for United after being seen in first-team training. Ashley Young could also play after serving his suspension.

Breaking down Sheffield will be a test for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with a strong defence and fast counter-attacks that could see the newly promoted side take the points in a tight encounter.

Prediction: Sheffield United to win @ $3.50
