Matchweek 31

Liverpool ($1.11) vs Watford ($19) – Saturday 2nd April @10:30pm AEDT

Liverpool have the chance to go top of the Premier League if they beat Watford at Anfield on Saturday evening.

Jurgen Klopp’s men, at least temporarily, can claim a two-point advantage over Manchester City, who play Burnley Sunday morning.

Although, Watford do have previous against Liverpool, dominating the Reds as recently as 2020, when they delivered a 3-0 hammering to the Merseysiders.

The Hornets are in dire need of a result here, languishing in 18th place and still three points behind Everton, who have also played two games fewer.

Team News

Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to miss Saturday’s game for Liverpool with a hamstring injury he suffered prior to the international break.

For Watford, Ismalia Sarr, who played in Senegal’s dramatic World Cup qualification win over Egypt midweek, could return.

Best Bets

Over/Under 3.5: Over ($1.82)

Burnley ($13) vs Manchester City ($1.20) – Sunday 3rd April @1:00am AEDT

Manchester City face the inconceivable prospect of kicking off Sunday morning’s game away at Burnley in second place.

Should Liverpool beat Watford on Saturday night, the Citizens might need to win all of their remaining games to retain their Premier League crown.

Meanwhile, Burnley are fighting for their lives and are in decent form, having shocked Tottenham only recently at Turf Moor.

Team News

Defender Ben Mee remains in doubt for Burnley, while Nathan Collins is still suspended.

For City, only Ruben Dias stands as a definite absentee for the trip away at Turf Moor.

Best Bets

Over/Under 2.5:  Under ($2.33)

Crystal Palace ($4) vs Arsenal ($1.90) – Tuesday 5th April @5:00am AEDT

Arsenal will be looking to consolidate their spot in fourth position with a tricky London derby away at Crystal Palace.

The Gunners sit three points ahead of their bitter rivals Spurs, with a game in hand to play. However, a defeat here to Palace could see them fall outside of the Champions League places, with an away trip to Tottenham still to come.

Life at Selhurst Park is good at the moment for Palace manager and former Arsenal captain, Patrick Viera.

The Eagles have reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup and they find themselves sitting comfortably mid-table, with no major threat of relegation.

Team News

Palace Boss Patrick Viera will give an injury update at his press conference on Friday.

For Arsenal, defender Takehiro Tomiyasu could make his first appearance for Arsenal since January.

Best Bets

Over/Under 1.5: Under ($4.80)
