Since the North Queensland Cowboys entered the NRL competition in 1995, they have also shared a healthy big brother, little brother competition with the Brisbane Broncos.
However, the rivalry has well and truly gone to a new level in the past two seasons culminating in the dramatic Grand Final golden point victory to the Cowboys last year.
In Round 4 this year, the two sides met at the fabled Suncorp Stadium with the home side claiming a golden point victory of their own courtesy of an Anthony Milford field goal four minutes into extra time.
The two sides meet again in round 11 at 1300SMILES Stadium on Friday night in what should be another cracking game between the two arch rivals. The Cowboys ($1.80) go into the game as slight favourites with the Broncos at $2 in betting. The last two matches between the two side have gone to golden point extra time, if you think this one will go down to the wire again, the full time draw option is currently paying $21.
