2025 NRL Round 15 Betting Predictions

Round 15 of the NRL season kicks off with a crucial rivalry matchup between the Sharks and Dragons at Shark Park on Thursday night footy.

Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks (5th) vs St. George Illawarra Dragons (11th)

The Sharks take on the Dragons this week, looking to bounce back after a heavy 30-point loss to the Warriors at home. Sitting 5th on the ladder with a 7-6 record, Cronulla have hit a bit of a rough patch with back-to-back losses, but they’ve still won three of their last five. They’ve been solid at home this season with a 4-2 record, but a bit shakier on the road at 3-4. They'll be keen to turn things around and get back on track against a Dragons side they’ll fancy their chances against.

The Dragons come into this clash with the Sharks sitting 11th on the ladder and looking to bounce back after a brutal 56-6 loss to the Dolphins at Lang Park. They’ve dropped three of their last five and are coming off a tough outing, so they’ll be eager to respond. With a 5-7 record for the season, they’ve been average both home (3-3) and away (2-4), and will need to lift big time if they’re going to match it with a Sharks side also hungry to bounce back.

Stadium Record

Cronulla are 5-5 in their last 10 games at Shark Park. St. George are 1-4 at this venue since 2018.

Head to Head Record

The Sharks are 11-3 against the Dragons since 2018.

Best Bet

The Under is 8-1 in this matchup and there is rain expected during the game, which should help keep the total under 47.5 pts.

Under 47.5 = $1.85

Same Game Multi

The Sharkies are 9-0 against the Dragons and I think they get the job done at home. The Dragons were awful defensively last week and Nicho Hynes should be dominant. They also will not be happy about the 40-10 scoreline last week. Mulitalo is back from suspension and I can see him crossing the line. He loves playing the Dragons, having scored 4 tries in his last 2 against them and he's scored a try in 4 of his last 5 games.

Under 47.5 pts / Sharks Win / Ronaldo Mulitalo Anytime Tryscorer = $4.20

Gold Coast Titans (17th) vs Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles (9th)

The Titans head into their clash with the Sea Eagles sitting last on the ladder and desperate to turn things around. They’ve lost three straight and only managed one win from their last five games. Their attack has been a major issue all season, ranking 14th in the NRL for both points and tries scored. They’re coming off a heavy 44-14 loss to the Broncos at Lang Park and have struggled both at home (1-4) and away (2-5). It’s a tough spot for the Titans, and they’ll need a big effort to challenge Manly.

The Sea Eagles head into their matchup with the Titans sitting just outside the top eight in 9th spot with a 6-7 record. They went down in a close one last week against the Knights in Newcastle, losing 26-22, and will be looking to bounce back. They've been a bit up and down lately with two wins from their last five, and their away form hasn't been great either at 2-4. That said, one positive has been their ball control — they rank last in the NRL for errors made, which has been a real strength. They'll be backing themselves to get the job done against the struggling Titans.

Stadium Record

Gold Coast are 1-4 in their last 5 games at this venue. In their last 5 games at Robina, Manly holds a 4-1 record.

Head to Head Record

In the last 10 meetings, the head to head is squared at 5-5.

Best Bet

Manly are 6-0 against the Over when they're playing interstate and get the benefit of DCE being dropped from Origin. The Titans give up plenty of points and I don't see that changing against Manly.

Over 50.5 = $1.87

Newcastle Knights (15th) vs Sydney Roosters (10th)

The Knights head into their clash with the Roosters sitting 15th on the ladder, but they’ll take some confidence from last week’s tight 26-22 win over the Sea Eagles at home. That snapped a rough patch, with just two wins from their last five. They’ve struggled for points all season, ranking dead last in the NRL for both points and tries scored, and they lead the league in errors too. With a 5-8 record overall, they’ll need to lift big time to trouble a strong Roosters outfit.

The Roosters come into this one sitting 10th on the ladder with a 5-7 record and looking to bounce back after a narrow 2-point loss to the Raiders at home. They've won three of their last five, so their recent form hasn't been too bad, but they’ll want to tidy things up with errors still a concern — they rank third in the NRL for most made. Their home record sits at 3-4, and they’ve gone 2-3 on the road, so consistency has been a bit of an issue. Still, they'll see this as a winnable game against a struggling Knights side.

Stadium Record

Newcastle are 5-5 in their last 10 games at this venue. Sydney are 4-1 in their last 5 games at this venue.

Head to Head Record

In the last 10, the Roosters are 9-1 against the Knights.

Best Bet

The Roosters look strong on paper and should win this. But the Under is a great bet with the Knights playing, it's 10-1 in their last 11 night games.

Under 43.5 = $1.90

North Queensland Cowboys (6th) vs Dolphins (7th)

The Cowboys head into their clash with the Dolphins sitting 6th on the ladder with a 5-6 record, but they’ve had a mixed run of form lately, picking up just one win from their last five. They’re coming off a tough 38-14 loss to the Storm in Melbourne and will be keen to bounce back at home, where they’ve been decent with a 3-1-2 record. One area they need to clean up is ball control — they rank 2nd in the NRL for most errors made. It’s a big test this week, but the Cowboys will be out to prove they can bounce back and stay in the finals mix.

The Dolphins are riding high after a massive 56-6 win over the Dragons at Lang Park and come into this clash with the Cowboys on a two-game winning streak. Sitting 7th on the ladder with a 6-7 record, they’ve shown they can score points in bunches, ranking 3rd in the NRL for both points and tries scored. They’ve been solid on the road with a 3-4 away record and will be full of confidence after that dominant performance last round. With three wins from their last five, the Dolphins are starting to build some momentum heading into this one.

Stadium Record

North Queensland are 6-3 (1 draw) in their last 10 games at QCB. The Dolphins are 2-0 at this venue.

Head to Head Record

The head to head is tied at 2-2.

Best Bet

A lot of Origin players out for this QLD derby but I still like the Over in North QLD. The Over has saluted in 5 of the Cowboys last 6 games.

Over 49.5 = $1.87

South Sydney Rabbitohs (12th) vs Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs (1st)

The Rabbitohs come into their clash with the Bulldogs sitting 12th on the ladder with a 6-7 record and looking to bounce back after a tough 36-12 loss to the Raiders in Canberra. They've dropped their last two and have only managed two wins from their past five games. Scoring has been a real issue all season — they rank 16th in the NRL for both points and tries scored. At home they’ve been okay (4-3), but their away form hasn’t been great (2-4). The Bunnies will need to find something extra if they’re going to turn things around here.

The Bulldogs are flying high at the top of the ladder with a 10-2 record and come into this clash with plenty of confidence after a solid 30-12 win over the Eels at Stadium Australia. They’ve won four of their last five and are looking sharp in attack, ranking 5th in the NRL for both points and tries scored. Home or away, they’ve been consistent, going 5-1 in both. With their form and firepower, the Dogs will be tough to stop against a Rabbitohs side that's been struggling to find points.

Stadium Record

South Sydney are 5-5 in their last 10 games at this venue. Canterbury are 4-1 in their last 5 games at this venue.

Head to Head Record

In the last 10 meetings, the Rabbitohs hold a 7-3 record against the Bulldogs.

Best Bet

The Under is 11-2 in Souths last 13 games and the Dogs have one of the best defensive records in the league, so I think this will be a low scoring affair to finish the round.

Under 45.5 = $1.85
