New York Giants v Philadelphia Eagles
Friday, October 12 10:20am at East Rutherford
With both sides coming off 2 straight losses, the rivalry between the Eagles and Giants heightens even more on Friday. Games involving the Eagles this season are proving to be close as ever. In their 5 games so far, all of them have finished under a touchdown margin. Last week, they failed to get going in the first half against the Vikings at home and they couldn’t overcome the slow start, losing 23-21. The Giants D needs to show some improvement after allowing 33 points in back to back games. They’ll also be looking for their first home victory of the year as they’ve lost both against the Saints and Jaguars. In terms of the head to head, the Eagles own the Giants with a 12-4 record since 2010. However, the margin in the last 5 games has fallen under 6 points. So I’m predicting another close game with plenty of points on the board. Friday games this season are showing an Overs trend as team’s on the short week struggle to backup from the week before. The Over also has a great record when the two sides meet at this venue, going 7-2 since 2010. The Giants found their offence last week, scoring 31 points on the road at Carolina. So they should enjoy more success at home this week. The Eagles on the other hand, should score plenty of points against the Giants lacklustre defence at the moment.
Stadium Record
New York is 0-2 at home this season. Since 2013, the Eagles are 4-1 at this venue.
Head to Head Record
The Eagles are 3-0 against the Giants since 2016 and won the last meeting here, 34-29.

Tennessee Titans v Baltimore Ravens
Monday, October 15 6:25am at Nashville
Both the Titans and Ravens are sitting with 3-2 records which makes this an interesting affair in Nashville on Monday morning. Defence is the key for either side and I’ll be looking for a low scoring contest. The Ravens rank #1 in the NFL for points allowed and the Titans are just behind them in 3rd place. They’re also both extra strong when it comes to stopping opposing Quarterbacks. So far this season, the Titans have won all 3 games by a field-goal. Which includes an impressive Overtime win over the Eagles and a 9-6 win over the Jaguars. Last week, they’ll be rueing a poor offensive showing as they lost 13-12 in Buffalo. The Ravens couldn’t get going last week either as they lost to the Browns in Cleveland 12-9. As a combined total, the two sides scored just 21 points last week. Which says they’ll struggle to score points once again in a matchup of strong defensive teams.
Stadium Record
The Titans have an undefeated record at home this season. The Ravens have lost both games here since 2011.
Head to Head Record
Since 2011, the Titans lead the head to head 2-1 and won this matchup last season, 23-20.

New England Patriots v Kansas City Chiefs
Monday, October 15 10:20am at Foxborough
New England return to Foxborough with an expected tough battle against the undefeated Chiefs. Looking back to last season, the Chiefs stunned the Patriots at this venue in the season opener with a 42-27 crushing win. Despite trading QB Alex Smith in the offseason, Pat Mahomes has been worth the gamble. He leads the NFL with 14 touchdown passes and led the Chiefs to an incredible comeback victory last week in Denver. Overall, this Kansas City offence is scoring 35 points per game, which is good for 2nd in the NFL. While for the Patriots, they’re back in form and looking dangerous as usual in the AFC. They’ve scored 38 points in back to back home victories over the Colts and Dolphins. They got Julian Edelman back from injury last week and he didn’t miss a step. New addition Josh Gordon hauled in his first Tom Brady touchdown. Rookie RB Sony Michel is proving hard to stop. So in a matchup of two high-powered offences, this is looking like another high scoring affair. The last meeting totalled 69 points and the over has gone 2-1 since 2010 when the Chiefs travel here. In night games at home, the Patriots have a 16-8 record against the Over. I think the Chiefs attack will be hard to stop for the Patriots defence. While on the other side, Tom Brady is always a handful and should have success against the Chiefs 2nd last ranked pass defence.
Stadium Record
New England is undefeated at home in 3 games this season. The Chiefs are 1-2 here since 2011 but won 42-27 last year.
Head to Head Record
Since 2011, the Chiefs and Patriots are tied 2-2 from the 4 meetings.

Green Bay Packers v San Francisco 49ers
Tuesday, October 16 10:15am at Green Bay
The week of NFL action concludes at Lambeau Field as the Packers host the 49ers. This is looking like a tough road-trip for the 49ers as they’re without star QB Jimmy G. He tore his ACL a few weeks ago and the 49ers offence won’t be the same without him. It showed last week as they lost 28-18 at home against the previously winless Cardinals. The Packers are having an inconsistent season so far with a 2-2 record and a tie against the Vikings. They lost 31-23 to the Lions last week but shutout the Bills 22-0 in their last home game. Aaron Rodgers showed great signs last week with 442 passing yards and 3 touchdown passes. So I can see him finding his mojo once again this Tuesday morning on the way to a large win. The line has the Packers winning this easily and I find it hard to argue with that. The 49ers are coming off 3 straight losses and will be low on confidence coming into a road-game with a second string QB. They also gave up 5 turnovers last week and the fact that the Packers shutout a similar team in their last home game should see a blowout result in the home sides favour. They also beat them 17-3 in the last matchup and have scored 20+ points in all 3 home games so far.
Stadium Record
The Packers are 2-1 at home this season and won 22-0 in Week 4. The 49ers won a playoff game here in 2014, winning 23-20.
Head to Head Record
San Francisco has a good record over the Packers with 4 wins in the last 6 meetings.
