Week 7 of the NFL season starts in New Orleans with the 3-3 Saints hosting the 4-2 Jaguars.

Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2) at New Orleans Saints (3-3)

The Jags will be looking for a 4th straight win this week when they head to New Orleans. In the last 3 weeks, they've beaten the Colts 37-20, the Bills 25-20 and Atlanta 23-7. They're scoring 23.7 points per game, which ranks them 10th in the NFL. While on defence, they've been excellent against the run but not great against the pass. So they should be able to shut down the Saints mediocre running game.

The Saints are coming off a 20-13 loss against the Texans and have lost 3 of their last 4 games. As a result, this is a key home game to get their season back on track. The key against the Jags will be taking advantage of their struggling secondary that's giving up 270 passing yards per game.

It's a tight one in the odds but the Jags are the form team. They also beat the Bills in their last road game and have won 5 of their last 6 away from home.

Miami Dolphins (5-1) at Philadelphia Eagles (5-1)

The Dolphins continued their excellent start to the season with a 42-21 win over the Panthers last week. So they head to Philadelphia with a lot of confidence. They're easily the best offence in the league, scoring 37.2 points per game. They also rank 1st in the NFL for passing yards and rushing yards.

The Eagles are coming off their first loss of the season, 20-14 against the Jets. However, their undefeated at home this season and will go in as favourites against the Dolphins. The Eagles offence hasn't been as good as the Fins but they're still scoring 25.8 points per game. While on defence, their run-stopping ability will be a key factor. They rank 2nd in the NFL for rushing yards allowed.

This should be a cracking contest between two in-form sides and points should be flowing. The Over has saluted in 14 of the last 19 games at this venue and the last meeting saw a 37-31 result.

San Francisco 49ers (5-1) at Minnesota Vikings (2-4)

The 49ers undefeated season ended last week when they went down to the Browns 19-17. It was a rare off-day for their offence that has been on fire for most of the season so they can likely rebound against the Vikings. Overall, they're scoring 30.7 points per game and will likely have Christian McCaffrey in the backfield after avoiding a serious injury last week.

The Vikings are starting to get their season back on track after 2 wins in their last 3. Their defence was excellent last week as they beat the Bears 19-13. The challenge against the 49ers will be moving the ball against their defence, which is allowing just 14.5 points per game. The Vikings key will be moving the ball in the air via the Cousins and Jefferson combination as their running game has been poor this season.

Minnesota get the 49ers after a loss and they have a few injuries too. The Vikings also have an excellent 9-1 ATS record at home against them and they should be able to keep this one close.
