NFL Week 11 Predictions and Betting Preview

Seattle Seahawks v Green Bay Packers

Week 11 starts with a NFC battle as the Packers head to Seattle on Friday. Both sides are in contention for a NFC wildcard spot so the stakes are high. The home side is coming off two tough losses in a row against the Rams and Chargers. Last week's game against the Rams was a shootout as they went down 36-31. On the other hand, the Packers snapped a 2 game losing streak last week as they comfortably beat the Dolphins 31-12. However, the problem for the Packers this season has been road games. Overall, they're 0-4 away from Lambeau Field and a short week trip to Seattle won't be easy. Interestingly, the last 3 meetings have been played in Green Bay and the Packers are 3-0. But in Seattle, the Seahawks are 3-0. So I think with their season pretty much on the line, the Seahawks get the job done at home. The key will be exposing the Packers 22nd ranked rush defence as they face the Seahawks running game, which is ranked #1 in the NFL. They carved up the Rams last week for 273 yards. While on defence, the Seahawks are one of the better team's against the pass (ranked 7th for pass yards allowed) and that should help them stop Aaron Rodgers in the air.

Stadium Record

Seattle is 1-2 at home this season. The Packers haven't won in Seattle since 2008.

Head to Head Record

The two sides met last season and the Packers won 17-9 at home. Seattle has won 3 in a row at home against them since 2012.

Best Bet

Seahawks WIN $1.70

New Orleans Saints v Philadelphia Eagles

The Saints just keep on rolling as they've won 8 straight games and look to continue their winning ways as they host the Eagles in Week 11. Last week, Drew Brees and his offence ran riot in Cincinnati as they put up 51 points. Which followed a 45-35 win over the Rams in their last home game. As a result, they're the number 1 scoring team in the NFL and face a struggling Eagles team. Philadelphia are 4-5 on the season and need to urgently get going if they want to defence their Super Bowl title. They were poor last week against the Cowboys as they lost by a touchdown at home. In this matchup, I can see a high scoring affair with the Saints offence on fire and the Eagles should have success in the passing game. They will face the Saints pass D which is allowing 296 passing yards per game (ranks 31st in the NFL). The Saints are the best ranked rush defence in the league so that should mean Carson Wentz looks to air in this game. Over is 3-1 at this venue this season and the Saints have scored 40+ in back to back home wins.

Stadium Record

At home, the Saints are ridding a 3 game winning streak and knocked off the Rams in their latest. The Eagles lost 28-13 in the last matchup in New Orleans.

Head to Head Record

Since 2012, the Saints lead the head to head 2-1. This is the first meeting since 2015 and the Eagles won 39-17 at home on that occasion.

Best Bet

OVER 52.5 points $1.71

Chicago Bears v Minnesota Vikings

It's a NFC North battle on Monday afternoon with the 6-3 Bears hosting the 5-3-1 Vikings. This is a key game in the division as both sides look to win the North. Chicago is looking for their 4th straight win after a few comfortable wins over the Lions, Bills and Jets. They've been impressive at home with a 4-1 record and QB Mitchell Trubisky is enjoying a fine season. He's tossed 19 touchdowns and has made the Bears offence relevant again. Minnesota is back from the bye and head to Chicago with a 4-1 record in their last 5 games. After a 1-3 start to the year, the Vikings look to be back in form. They have dominated this matchup with a 6-1 record since 2014. But the Bears look a much improved side in 2018. So I'm liking the Overs at around 42.5 points. Overall, the Bears are scoring 32.2 points per game at Soldier Field and the Over is 3-2 in their 5 home games. While on the road, the Vikings have scored 30 points per game and Kirk Cousins should be looking to the passing game in this matchup. Both defences rank in the top 3 for rushing yards allowed so that should mean this game will turn into a high scoring affair.

Stadium Record

The Bears are 4-1 at home and have won 2 in a row. In Chicago, the Vikings won the last clash 20-17.

Head to Head Record

Overall since 2010, the head to head is tied at 8-8. But in recent times, the Vikings are 6-1 since 2014.

Best Bet

OVER 42.5 points $1.60

Los Angeles Rams v Kansas City Chiefs

Could this be a Super Bowl preview? Week 11 concludes with the 9-1 Chiefs taking on the 9-1 Rams in Los Angeles. Thankfully this game has been moved from Mexico City due to unfit field conditions. This is matchup of two high powered offences and that should be the exciting part about this game. Starting at QB, both Pat Mahomes and Jared Goff have passed for over 3000 passing yards, ranking 1st and 2nd in the NFL. Mahomes is leading the way in touchdown passes with 31 already in an incredible 2nd season. The Rams lost Cooper Kupp last game to a season ending injury so they'll look to Todd Gurley once again. He's well in the MVP conversion as he's racked up 988 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. Leading receiver - Brandin Cooks - will be even more important as the Rams look to keep up with the Chiefs offence. Tyreek Hill and Kareem Hunt of the Chiefs are both tough matchups which should give the Rams defence plenty of headaches. The head to head has been dominated by the Chiefs as they've won the last 6 meetings, including a 34-7 win in the last meeting. So I don't mind the Chiefs at the line. KC is 4-1 on the road this season and the Chiefs also hold an 8-2 record against the line in 2018.

Stadium Record

LA is undefeated at home in 5 games this season. Kansas City is yet to play at this venue.

Head to Head Record

The Chiefs won the last matchup in 2014, 34-7. They haven't lost against the Rams since 1994.

Best Bet

Chiefs +5.5 $1.73
