The Patriots won the Super Bowl last year after they were behind 28-3 and they open the season with a home game. They also won both playoff games at Foxborough earlier this year and scored an average of 35 points.

The Chiefs also made the playoffs last season and they’ll be looking to start the season with an upset. They lost to the Steelers by 2 points in the Divisional Playoffs and they had a 6-2 away record last season.

The Patriots are 2-1 against the Chiefs since 2011. They last met in the playoffs two seasons ago and the Patriots won by a touchdown in Foxborough.

Point Spread:

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys

Date: Monday, September 11, 2017. Venue: Arlington
Odds: Cowboys $1.56, Giants $2.51

The Cowboys host the Giants on Monday at Arlington. We'll provide a betting preview of the game below.

Form Guide:

The Cowboys lost in the Divisional playoff game last season after a 13-3 record in the regular season. They’ll start the season most likely without star running back Ezekiel Elliott due to suspension as well.

The Giants also lost in the Wildcard playoffs, suffering a 25 point loss against the Packers. But they have the wood over the Cowboys lately.

Head to Head Record:

The Giants are 3-0 against the Cowboys and they’ve won two in a row in Dallas. They won both meetings last season by an average of 2 points. So these teams love a close one.

Point Spread:

The Giants are 3.5 points underdog but due their record over the Cowboys, they should cover this. In the last five meetings, the margin has fallen under 8 points and the Giants are 5-0 ATS.

The Vikings went 5-0 at the start of last season and they’ll be looking for a similar result in 2017. However, down the stretch they lost 3 of 5 at home.

The average margin in the Saints last four games is just 6 points. Drew Brees is back for another season and he’ll be the key for the Saints in this one.

Head to Head Record:

The Saints have won three in a row against the Vikings since 2010. The last meeting in Minnesota was a 42-20 scoreline for the Saints.

The Vikings start as 3.5 favourites but the Saints are 3-0 ATS versus the Vikings. The Saints average losing margin last year was only 6 points so they’re a very good bet at +3.5.

The Broncos are just 3.5 favourites in the point spread. But based on their record against the Chargers, they should cover this comfortably.
