The Monday slate of NFL action ends with a massive AFC East clash in Buffalo. The Bills are looking to keep their undefeated run going but the Pats are back in contention for the divisional title. Here's a preview of Monday's huge clash.
New England Patriots (2-2) at Buffalo Bills (4-0)
The Pats are sitting nicely at 2-2, so a win over the Bills would be huge for their season. Last week was a complete domination job by the Pats against the Panthers, winning 42-13 at Gillette Stadium. Drake Maye comes off 2 TD passes and his favourite target was Stefon Diggs - 101 yards on 6 catches. Diggs faces his former side this week as a Pat and will be looking for a big game.
Meanwhile, the Bills are cruising at 4-0 and continued their winning ways with a 31-19 victory over the Saints in Week 4. James Cook is on fire this season and comes off 117 rushing yards and a TD. Getting to 5-0 and a 3 game advantage over the Patriots will be a huge motivation factor for Buffalo this Monday.
Leg #1 - Patriots +10.5
Taking the Pats to cover should offer a good start to this SGM. While the Bills will be tougher compared to the Panthers, New England should give them a good challenge in Buffalo. In the last 4 meetings, the highest margin between these two sides is just 7 pts. The Pats won last year's season finale 23-16 and the previous 2 clashes in Buffalo have been close (3 & 6 pt margins).
Leg #2 - James Cook Anytime Touchdown Scorer
The price isn't great for Cook to continue his TD streak, but it's a safe bet at this point. He's scored a TD on the ground in every game this season. Going back to last season, he's scored a TD in 8 straight regular season games.
Leg #3 - TreVeyon Henderson 30+ Rushing Yards
One of the keys for New England will be attacking the Buffalo run defence, which has been awful. They rank 31st in the league, allowing 164 rushing yards per game. Last week, the Saints put up 189 yards on the ground against them. The Pats backfield is a committee but Henderson is still getting plenty of looks with his speed. He beat 30+ yards last week against the Panthers and has been close in his other games too (27 & 28).
Same Game Multi
Patriots +10.5 / James Cook Anytime Touchdown Scorer/ TreVeyon Henderson 30+ Rushing Yards = $4.60
Value Leg - Hunter Henry Anytime Touchdown Scorer
The anytime TD price for Hunter Henry is very attractive. He comes off back-to-back games with a TD catch and that includes 2 TD catches against the Steelers. Drake Maye likes him near the endzone, which is a great sign.
