NFL Tips & Betting Preview Week 6 20/21 | BlueBet

Green Bay Packers (4-0) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2)

Green Bay's electric offence heads to Tampa Bay on Monday in search of a 5th straight win against Brady's Bucs. Aaron Rodgers has led the way with 13 touchdown passes on the season and the Packers are easily the top scoring team in the NFL with 38 points per game. While on the defensive side of the ball, their defence is improving against the run but because their scoring at such a rate, teams are simply forced into passing shootouts with Rodgers.

Meanwhile, the Bucs will be eager to get back on the field after an embarrassing collapse against the Bears on Friday. After leading 13-0, the sloppy Bucs simply gave away too many penalties and Tom Brady made a rare error in the 4th quarter after forgetting it was fourth down! But we'll be expecting that performance to spur on the Bucs on their home turf, where they're won 2 of 2 in 2020.

Ultimately, with Rodgers and Brady facing off against each other, we feel this should be a high scoring affair between 2 of the best veteran QBs in the NFL. The Over also has a great record in Tampa at 8-1 and it's also 4-1 in the last 5 meetings between the two teams.

Stadium Record

Tampa Bay is 2-0 at home this season with wins over Carolina and the Chargers. Since 2001, the Packers are 2-4 at this venue but won 20-3 in the 2014 meeting.

Head to Head Record

The Packers hosted the Buccaneers in 2017 and came away with a 26-20 victory. Since 2001, both sides have won 5 games against each other.

Best Bet

Los Angeles Rams (4-1) at San Francisco 49ers (2-3)

The 4-1 Rams are quietly going about their business in season 2020 and they'll be looking to continue their strong run of form in this NFC West battle. In the last 2 weeks, they've easily disposed of two NFC East opponents in the Giants / Redskins. Their defence has been great, especially against the pass as they're currently ranked 2nd in the NFL. They're also allowing just 18 ppg, which ranks 3rd in the league. Meanwhile, Jared Goff has been consistently finding space for the likes of Cupp and Woods in the passing game.

It's a fairly different story for the 49ers after 2 straight defeats. Which includes a shocking performance by Jimmy G against the Dolphins last week as Fitzpatrick tore the game apart in the 43-17 result. Garoppolo is dealing with an injury at the moment so the QB will be on injury watch as the game nears. The 49ers have really battled with injuries in the early stages of the season and their 0-3 home record is a real concern if they're looking to win the division title from here. So it just starts with getting their running game back on track and finding a way of stopping Goff in the passing game.

After a really average effort against the mediocre Dolphins, the odds are stacked against the injury riddled 49ers on Monday. The Rams are playing well enough to be an away favourite in San Fran and we'll be backing them to continue the 49ers woes.

Stadium Record

At this venue, the Rams are 2-1 since 2017 and have scored 30+ in all 3 games. San Francisco has not won a home game this season in 3 attempts.

Head to Head Record

The 49ers beat the Rams twice last season, including a 34-31 result in December. Since 2015, the 49ers hold a slight head to head advantage at 6-4.

Best Bet

Rams -3.5 $1.94

Arizona Cardinals (3-2) at Dallas Cowboys (2-3)

After 2 straight defeats against the Lions and Panthers, the Cardinals returned to form with a comfortable 30-10 victory over the reeling Jets. The combination between Kyler Murray and Hopkins in the passing game has been a major reason why the Cards are 3-2. They're also ranked top 6 in the league for rushing yards per game and passing yards allowed. But the key in this matchup will be stopping the Dallas offence, even without Prescott.

The Cowboys rough start with injuries just continues as Dak Prescott is out for the season with an ankle injury. But the positive is Andy Dalton is a worthy backup and he helped the 'Boys rally against the Giants last week in the 37-34 victory. He has plenty of weapons in this Dallas offence so the Cowboys should be confident. However, their defence is simply struggling. They rank last in the NFL for takeaways and have allowed the most points of any team thus far (36 points per game).

At this point, the Cardinals really shouldn't have much trouble with the Cowboys leaking defence. Meaning that Murray and Hopkins will be a handful on the Cards offence. Meanwhile, Prescott is a huge out for the home side, especially with their defence playing so poorly, and we can't see them keeping up with the Cards in this one.

Stadium Record

Dallas is 2-1 at home this season and 14-5 in the last 19. Arizona has only played in Dallas on 3 occasions since 2003 and they're 1-2.

Head to Head Record

Since 2001, the Cardinals hold a 6-4 SU record. The last meeting was in 2017 and the Cowboys won that 28-17.

Cardinals WIN $1.78
