NFL Tips & Betting Preview Week 4 | BlueBet

Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers

Green Bay will aim for a 4th consecutive victory when they host the struggling 1-2 Philadelphia Eagles this Friday. The Pack are looking back to their best under new head coach Matt LaFleur. It also helps that the defence is allowing just 11 points per game and Aaron Rodgers is healthy. On the other hand, the Eagles have been sloppy in their first 3 games of the season. Last week, they lost to the Lions by 3 at home, so they’re starting to lose ground in the NFC East. But they do have the talent to turn it around and that starts on the road to Green Bay. Ultimately, the Under has saluted in all 3 Friday games and we’re not jumping off the trend just yet. As mentioned, the Packers D has improved out of sight thus far in 2019 and the Under also has a nice 9-4 record at Lambeau Field. Meanwhile, the Eagles hold a 4-1 Unders record on the road and it’s a nice 7-1 when they play the Packers. The short week seems to be benefiting the defensive side of the ball and that should be the case in Week 4’s opener.

Stadium Record

Green Bay has won both home games in 2019 and hold a 6-2 SU in their last 8. Philadelphia has lost 5 of its last 7 at Lambeau.

Head to Head Record

The last meeting was back in 2016 and the Packers won on the road 27-13. While in Green Bay, it was a 53-20 scoreline in 2014 in the Packers favour.

Best Bet

UNDER 45 (TBA)

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears

Soldier Field features the NFC North battle between the 2-1 Bears and the 2-1 Vikings. With the Packers leading the division, this is a key game for both sides to bridge the gap. For the Bears, their offence finally came alive in Washington as they crushed the Redskins 31-15. Taylor Gabriel caught 3 touchdowns but may miss this clash with concussion. Chicago will look to rebound from their home opener, where they scored just 3 points against Green Bay. Meanwhile, the Vikings also had an easy time in Week 3 with a 34-14 crushing win over the Raiders. Dalvin Cook continued his impressive start to the season 110 yards on the ground. So this will be an interesting test of the Vikings run game. They come up against the Bears run D, that’s allowing just 47 yards per game. So that will likely force Kirk Cousins to pass the ball a bit more. Ultimately, the Under has a great record in this meeting and both sides should be fired up defensively. Under is 11-4 when the Bears meet the Vikings and this should be a similar type of game.

Stadium Record

The Bears lost their home opener in Week 1 but they have won 8 of their last 11 in Chicago. The Vikings don’t enjoy travelling here as they won just 3 of 18.

Head to Head Record

Chicago swept the series last year with wins by 14 and 5 (at home) points.

Dallas Cowboys at New Orleans Saints

The Monday feature game heads to New Orleans with the 2-1 Saints up against the 3-0 Cowboys.
We expected the Saints to struggle without Brees last week but it was the total opposite result. They successfully overcame a late comeback by the Seahawks on the road for a crucial 33-27 victory. They leaned on RB Alvin Kamara and that’ll be the case against the Cowboys. While Dallas are 3-0 on the season, this is their first challenge of 2019. They've easily beat the Giants, Redskins and Dolphins, but these teams combine for a record of 1-8! So you have to like the underdog Saints at home. Home field advantage should be the key as they’ve won 16 of 19 home games and have also beaten the Cowboys in 9 of 12 meetings.

Stadium Record

The Saints beat the Texans at home in Week 1 and have a 16-3 home record. Dallas has lost 5 of their last 6 games in New Orleans.

Head to Head Record

Dallas beat the Saints 13-10 at home last season. However, New Orleans hold a 9-3 SU record against them.

Best Bet

Saints WIN $2.20

Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers

With the Steelers and Bengals both 0-3, one team will finally get a win in 2019. Meanwhile, an 0-4 start could mean season over already. The Steelers have rebounded from the Week 1 30 point loss in New England with close losses against the 49ers and Seahawks. But with Big Ben on the sidelines, it’s going too be tough to score points. It’s a similar story for the Bengals with a 21-17 loss to the Bills last week and a one point defeat in their previous road game. They’ve been impressive on the road recently with a 5-0 ATS record but they don't generally play well at Heinz Field (2-5-1 ATS). So with both teams not at their best thus far, we’re looking at the Under. The Steelers don’t have the same scoring potential without Big Ben and AB. Meanwhile, the Under has saluted in 4 of the last 5 meetings at Heinz Field. Cinci also holds a 4-1 Unders record in their last 5 road games.

Stadium Record

Pittsburgh lost their home opener to the Seahawks 28-26. But they have won 5 of 7 at home. The Bengals have lost 5 on the trot in Pittsburgh.

Head to Head Record

The two sides split the series in 2018 with the Steelers winning a close one at home 16-13.
