2022 NFL Week 3 Betting Predictions
Week 3 of the NFL season begins with an AFC North rivalry matchup between the Steelers and Browns in Ohio.
Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1) at Cleveland Browns (1-1)
After beating the Bengals in Week 1 by a field goal, the Steelers struggled to move the ball in their 3 point loss against the Pats in Week 2. The offence has lost a lot of firepower so it's more about the defence for Pittsburgh at the moment. An injury to TJ Watt hasn't helped their defensive unit though. However, the Browns are usually a good matchup for the Steelers and this should a grinding contest.
The Browns should be 2-0 but fell apart against the Jets at home in an embarrassing loss. They were up by 2 touchdowns with 2 minutes to play but lost 31-30. The key for them in this matchup will be their #1 ranking running game behind Chubb and Hunt.
This is likely going to be an ugly divisional clash where points will be at a premium so we like the chances of the Under.

San Francisco 49ers (1-1) at Denver Broncos (1-1)
The 49ers were rocked by the season ending injury to QB Trey Lance. But luckily they didn't trade Jimmy G and he led them to a crushing 27-7 win over Seattle at home in Week 2. Their defence has been great to the season and should have more success against a struggling Broncos side. Meanwhile, the 49ers running game is strong as well and they'll be hoping George Kittle can return from injury to provide a boost.
The Broncos had a mount a 4th quarter comeback against the Texans in Week 2 as the Wilson era in Denver hasn't started too well. But they should get better as the season progresses. The good news is that their defence responded after losing to Seattle by allowing just 3 field goals against Houston.
This is another clash that should be low scoring. Both defences are excellent at containing points. Denver has struggled to score points on offence and the 49ers will be without Lance at QB.

Dallas Cowboys (1-1) at New York Giants (2-0)
Dallas shocked the Bengals with a field goal victory in Week 2 - 20-17. Despite losing Dak Prescott in Week 1, backup QB Cooper Rush found his combination with Brown and led the Boys to a great win. This is a key divisional game in terms of the NFC East so the Cowboys will travel to NY with a lot of confidence.
The Giants are 2-0 after back to back close wins. They upset the Titans by a point in Week 1 on the road and won their home opener against the Panthers by a field goal. One of the major reasons for the turnaround has been the return of a healthy Saquon Barkley at RB and Daniel Jones has limited his turnovers.
The Cowboys have owned this divisional rivalry but this clash is in New York and the Giants are looking on the improve. Giants to get the job done in what should be a close one.
