Miami Dolphins at Jacksonville Jaguars
It's a battle of Florida to open Week 3 of the NFL as the 1-1 Jaguars host the 0-2 Dolphins. Jacksonville were expected to be tanking in 2020 but they've started the season strongly with a good win over the Colts and a late field goal defeat against the Titans. Gardner Minshew has tossed 6 touchdowns in 2 games and he'll enjoy this soft matchup with the Dolphins struggling overall defence. They've been torched by Newton and Allen in recent weeks so this is where the Jags will look to attack. Meanwhile, the Dolphins are 0-2 and desperate for a win. They've battled hard against two divisional opponents recently, including a 3 point loss to Buffalo last week. But as mentioned, their defence just isn't up to the task. So we can't see the Jaguars dropping such an important home game and they also hold a 4-0 home record in Friday games.
Stadium Record
The Jags beat the Colts by a touchdown in their first home game of 2020. Since 1998, the Dolphins are 3-4 in Jacksonville.
Head to Head Record
The two sides last met in 2018 with the Jaguars winning 17-7 and they've won 5 of 9 since 1998.

Dallas Cowboys at Seattle Seahawks
Dallas produced one of the greatest comebacks in the NFL last week by overcoming a 20 point deficit in their 40-39 win over Atlanta. Dak Prescott led the charge with 4 touchdowns, incredibly scoring 3 on the ground and Greg Zuerlein nailed a 46 yard field goal to seal a famous win. However, after conceding a 20-0 first quarter lead, the Cowboys will need to improve in Week 3 or Seattle will not make the same mistake. Speaking of the Seahawks, they outlasted Cam Newton and the Patriots in a shootout, 35-30. Russell Wilson continued his impressive start to the season with 5 touchdown passes and recovered nicely from an early pick-6. The defence also did it's job in the last quarter as they stopped Newton on the goal line as time expired. So with both sides coming off high scoring contests, we feel this will be another shootout between Wilson and Prescott, making the Over well worth a punt.
Stadium Record
The Seahawks have a great home record with 10 wins in their last 14. Meanwhile, Dallas has covered in 4 of the last 6 meetings in Seattle.
Head to Head Record
Dallas beat Seattle in last year's playoff matchup 24-22. But the Seahawks have won 3 of the last 4 meetings.
Best Bet
Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints
The Packers will head to the big easy with confidence after 2 huge wins over NFC North opponents. In Week 1, they smashed the Vikings 43-34 and followed that performance with a comfortable 42-21 victory over Detriot. Aaron Rodgers is playing with a chip on his shoulder after the Packers drafted a QB in the first round and Aaron Jones ran for 3 scores in last week's victory. The only concern is their defence against a good QB like Brees so that'll be the key in this matchup. For the Saints, they were poor against the Raiders last week and obviously miss key WR Michael Thomas in their offence. But defensively, they just had no answers for Raiders TE Darren Waller (12 catches, 103 yards). So to keep up with this Packers high-powered offence, Alvin Kamara will be the key in the Saints running/passing game out of the backfield. Overall, the Saints should improve on their home turf and we like the chances of a high scoring affair between Brees and Rodgers.
Stadium Record
Saints have a strong home record with 19 wins in their last 25. Green Bay is just 2-5 in New Orleans.
Head to Head Record
The Saints have won the last 2 meetings, 26-17 and 44-23.

Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens
The best game of Week 3 must wait until Tuesday morning when the Chiefs meet the Ravens in Baltimore. The major headline will be Mahomes vs Jackson and hopefully we get a repeat of the tight 33-28 result last season. Coming into this game, the Chiefs espaced with an OT victory over the Chargers, wining 23-20 in the end. However, their pass defence struggled against a young QB and they'll be tested against Jackson and this elite Ravens offence. Meanwhile, the Chiefs will need to find their running game again, which won't be any easier as well. For the Ravens, they're 2-0 after back to back crushing wins over the Browns (38-6) and Texans (33-16). As usual, their defence has been the backbone and they'll be confident in stopping Mahomes. While on offence, the Ravens have one of the best running QBs in the game and an overall running game that's always hard to stop as a result. So we're backing the Ravens to get the job done at home and move to 3-0.
Stadium Record
The Ravens hold a strong 7-1 home record since last season. Kansas City has won 4 of their last 5 at this venue.
Head to Head Record
The Chiefs have won the last 3 meetings but the last 2 have been close contests (6 & 3 points)
