Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers
It's an NFC South battle this Friday morning when the 0-1 Panthers take on the 0-1 Buccaneers. While both sides lost in Week 1, the Panthers are well favoured to earn their first victory of the new season. They played the NFC Champions at home and came away with a close 30-27 defeat. Cam Newton was rusty in his comeback to the NFL from injury but should be better for the run as they say. They'll look to lean on Christian McCaffrey once again after he totalled 200+ all purpose yards against a very good Rams defence. For the Bucs, it could be a long season if their Week 1 result is anything to go by. Winston tossed 3 interceptions, with 2 returned to the house by the 49ers D, as the Buccaneers started the season with a disappointing 31-17 loss. To make matters worse, they have an 0-7 record on the road and have lost 5 of the last 6 at Carolina. So looking at this clash on a short turnaround point of view, we can't see either team having much success on offence. So we like the chances of the Under, which is very good value at 48.5 points. The Under has saluted in 13 of the last 19 games between the two sides at this venue and the Under is also 6-1 in the Bucs last 7 road games.
Stadium Record
Carolina has won 10 of their last 14 home games. The Bucs have a poor 1-5 SU record at Carolina.
Head to Head Record
The home team has a 3-0 record in previous meetings. Last season, the Bucs won at home in December 24-17. But the Panthers crushed them at home, 42-28 in November.

New Orleans Saints at Los Angeles Rams
The Monday slate is highlighted by the re-match of last season's controversial clash between the Rams and Saints in Los Angeles. Ultimately, the Rams advanced to the Super Bowl after an OT field goal but the Saints were hard done by. So they'll be out for some revenge this Monday. In Week 1, both sides earned victories but weren't overly convincing. The Rams surived a late scare in Carolina against the Panthers with a 3 point win. Meanwhile, the Saints sealed an epic comeback over the Texans with a 58 yard field goal in the dying seconds. The market has the Rams just favoured in what should be a close call. Los Angeles has a great home record against the Saints at 5-0 ATS but the Saints do hold a 7-1 road record. The key will be in the QB battle between the ageless Drew Brees and young superstar Jared Goff. We believe it will become a shootout in the passing game as both QBs have a number of attacking weapons to choose from. So we're liking the Over here. The Over total holds a 4-2 record in the Rams last 6 home games and their offence was unstoppable early on last season at home. Meanwhile, the Saints do hold a nice 17-7 Overs record when they're playing the Rams on the road. It also helps that both sides gave up plenty of points in Week 1.
Stadium Record
The Rams are 8-2 at their home venue since last season. New Orleans have played just once here in recent times with a 26-20 loss.
Head to Head Record
The two sides met in last year's playoffs and the Rams came away with a 26-23 victory in Overtime.

Philadelphia Eagles at Atlanta Falcons
It's another NFC battle on Monday morning as the Atlanta Falcons host the Philadelphia Eagles in their home opener. The Falcons started the season on the road in Minnesota and just couldn't find any rhythm on offence. They were held scoreless for 3 quarters and Matt Ryan tossed 2 interceptions in the 28-12 defeat. It was a similar story for the Eagles as they started slowly against the Redskins, falling behind 17-0 at one stage. But DeSean Jackson's return to Philadelphia was the difference as he caught 2 long TD passes from Carson Wentz. Speaking of Wentz, he made a successful return from injury with 3 touchdowns and 0 inteceptions in a great sign for the Eagles. They travel to Atlanta with a nice 3-0 record against the Falcons since 2016 but they were all played in Philadelphia. So with the Falcons looking to rebound with a better showing on their home turf, this should be a close finish. Ultimately, we really like the Under trend and considering both sides started slowly in Week 1. Overall, the Under is 6-1 in the Eagles last 7 games in Atlanta and the Falcons now have a 6-3 Unders in their last 9.
Stadium Record
Atlanta has won 5 of the last 7 games at home against the Eagles.
Head to Head Record
Overall, the Eagles hold a 11-4 SU record against the Falcons.

Cleveland Browns at New York Jets
MetLife Stadium features an interesting battle between the winless Jets and Browns this Tuesday. The Jets will be hugely disappointed after blowing a large lead against the Bills. It was 16-0 at one stage but the Bills stormed home with 17 unanswered points. Big things were expected of the Browns in 2019 with a better roster but their Week 1 performance was very average. They gave up a ton of penalties and Mayfield had no time in the pocket. He ended up with 3 interceptions as he attempted to get the Browns back into the contest. But the Titans could do no wrong in the 43-13 crushing win. The interesting part about this matchup is the fact Baker Mayfield made his NFL debut against the Jets in Week 3 last season as he rallied his team to a 21-17 victory. So the Browns large defeat in Week 1 doesn't overly worry us because the Jets aren't a great team. They've lost 10 of their last 11 games and have also lost 5 on the trot at home. The Browns have played well on the road recently with a 4-2 ATS record and if they want to make the playoffs, this is really a must win game.
Stadium Record
New York has lost 5 straight games at MetLife. The Browns have an 0-3 record at this venue against the Jets and Giants.
Head to Head Record
The Jets are 5-1 against the Browns but Cleveland did win the last matchup.
