NFL Tips & Betting Preview Week 17 21/22 | BlueBet

Arizona Cardinals (10-5) at Dallas Cowboys (11-4)

Arizona has lost 3 straight games and as a result, they need to turn things around quickly in Dallas. Without DeAndre Hopkins, their offence has looked listless at times, highlighted by an average of just 17 points scored in this losing streak. This matchup with Dallas' defence is not easy either. They've given up a total of 20 points in their last 2 games. So the Cardinals will need to lean on their defence, which is playing well despite the offensive struggles. They're ranked 5th in the NFL for points allowed and also rank 5th for passing yardage allowed. Which should help them slowdown the variety of receivers at Dak Prescott's disposal.

The Cowboys are hitting peak form at the right time with 4 straight wins and they're currently the #2 seed in the NFC. They absolutely thrashed Washington in primetime last week, racking up 56 points in the 56-14 result. At home, they've now won 7 of their last 9 games and they also hold a 14-3 record against the Cardinals in Dallas. They're currently the best scoring team in the NFL with 30.5 points per game and have racked up 409 yards per game. So their offence is proving hard to stop with a nice balance between run & pass. While on defence, they're allowing 20.5 points per game and that ranks 7th in the NFL. They should be confident of continuing the Cardinals scoring troubles as a result.

It's fair to say the Cardinals are struggling and a road-trip to Dallas isn't an easy task at the moment. Dallas are strong on both sides of the ball and that should see them comfortably beat the Cards by 6+ points. They've covered in 7 of their last 9 at home and have a great record against Arizona in Dallas.

Stadium Record

The Cowboys are 7-2 at home. Arizona has lost 14 of their last 17 games.

Head to Head Record

Arizona won last year's meeting 38-10 and they hold a 6-4 record in the last 10 meetings.

Best Bet

Dallas Cowboys -6.0 = $1.89

Minnesota Vikings (7-8) at Green Bay Packers (12-3)

At 7-8, this is a must-win game for the Vikings otherwise, it's likely season over. They'll be coming off a close loss against the Rams 30-23. If they're looking for an upset, it will start with their defence that has struggled to contain the Rodgers/Adams combination in the passing game over the years. However, they will likely get Dalvin Cook back for this matchup and they should find success running the ball against this Packers defence. They struggled with Nick Chubb last week and rank 18th in the NFL for rushing yards allowed.

The Packers have won their last 4 games and can seal up the #1 seed in the NFC by winning out, which starts with the Vikings. Aaron Rodgers comes off a 3 touchdown day against the Browns last week and he hooked up with Davante Adams for 2 scores. The pair also acheived the same feat against the Vikings earlier this season in the 34-31 defeat in Minnesota. There's no doubt the Packers will be looking for revenge in Week 17 after that 3 point defeat. Rodgers has tossed 11 touchdowns with 0 interceptions in his last 3 games against the Vikings so he always enjoys this matchup.

The Vikings will be desperate to keep their season alive and they do have a good recent record at Lambeau Field. So we do like the chances of a fairly high scoring affair between the two offences. In the earlier season meeting, the two sides put up 65 points and the last meeting at Lambeau totalled 50 pts. The Over has also saluted in 8 of the last 10 road games for the Vikings and Green Bay is 4-1 against the Over in their last 5.

Stadium Record

The Packers have covered in 6 of their last 7 home games. The Vikings won the last meeting at Lambeau Field 28-20 and have only lost once at this venue since 2017.

Head to Head Record

Minnesota holds a 5-4-1 record in the last 10 meetings.

Best Bet

Over 41.5 = $1.82

Cleveland Browns (7-8) at Pittsburgh Steelers (7-7-1)

The Browns are getting used to close finishes after their last 3 games have been decided by exactly 2 points. However, they've lost 2 of those 3 games and now find themselves in an uphill battle to make the playoffs. In last week's loss against the Packers, Baker Mayfield threw 4 interceptions. But to get within 2 points of one of the best teams in the NFL on the road was a positive. So if they can use their strong running game against the Steelers, that will be their key to victory as Pittsburgh are the worst ranked run defence by yardage in the NFL.

Ben Roethlisberger has hinted that his time in Pittsburgh is coming to end as this could be his last start at Heinz Field. If this is the end, it's been a terrific run and Pittsburgh will be fighting hard for one last victory on their home turf for Big Ben. Last week, they were simply no match for the red-hot Chiefs as they went down 36-10. However, the Steelers have beaten the Titans 19-13 and Ravens 20-19 in their last 2 home games. So this should be another tough divisional clash with the Browns and they have dominated Cleveland when they meet in Pittsburgh over the last decade.

Pittsburgh has owned Cleveland at Heinz Field with 17 wins in the last 18 meetings and with the motivation to win for Big Ben, they should cover as a home underdog. Cleveland also don't have the ability to put teams away and that should keep the scoreline close for the 4 quarters.

Stadium Record

The Steelers are 5-0-1 in their last 6 games. Cleveland has lost 17 of their last 18 games at Heinz Field.

Head to Head Record

Pittsburgh beat the Browns 15-10 this season. In the last 10 meetings, Pittburgh holds a 6-3-1 record.

Best Bet

Pittsburgh Steelers +3.5 = $1.85
