NFL Tips & Betting Preview Week 17 20/21 | BlueBet

Green Bay Packers (12-3) at Chicago Bears (8-7)

The Packers are just one win away from claiming the #1 seed in the NFC if they can beat the Bears this Monday. So they likely won’t be resting any starters, including Aaron Rodgers who loves playing in Chicago. He’s coming off another 4 TD performance as the Packers thrashed the Titans in the snow, 40-14. Davante Adams also added 3 touchdown catches and his combination with Rodgers will be the key in a potential Super Bowl run.

After a mid-season slump, the Bears are right back in the playoff picture after 3 straight wins. The major reason behind their success has been a much improved running game behind David Montgomery. He’s scored 6 rushing touchdowns in 4 games while adding around 350 rushing yards. So the Bears will need to establish the run early to keep the ball away from Rodgers.

Green Bay has a great record in Chicago with Aaron Rodgers under centre as they've won 9 of the last 10. So we can't look past the Pack at the line as they should be fired up to seal the #1 seed and head into the playoffs with a 6th straight win. Not to mention, they can also end the Bears playoff hopes if the Rams win.

Stadium Record

The Packers are 9-1 at this venue. Chicago have won 3 of 7 at home this season.

Head to Head Record

Last month, the Packers thrashed the Bears 41-25 and have won 8 of the last 10.

Arizona Cardinals (8-7) at Los Angeles Rams (9-6)

This should be a really interesting Week 17 game where both teams could be without their starting QB as they fight for a playoff spot. For the Rams, Jared Goff has a broken thumb which he sustained in the Rams 20-9 loss to Seattle last week. So John Wolford or Blake Bortles will get the start at QB. To make matters worse, key WR Cooper Kupp will likely miss the clash as well.

On the other hand, the Cardinals could be without Kyler Murray as he’s struggling with a leg injury. So the Cards will probably have to start Chris Streveler, who’s a former Canadian Football League QB! While on defence, they’ll need to focus on their run defence after the 49ers ran all over them last week in the 20-12 defeat and the Rams will likely employ the same strategy without Goff under centre.

With both struggling with injuries, especially at QB, this matchup should be dominated by defence. The Rams are missing two of their best offensive players and haven't been scoring points freely lately anyway. Meanwhile, the Cardinals are 5-0 against the Under on the road and Kyler Murray will be playing through injury.

Stadium Record

Los Angeles have a 5-2 home record this season. Arizona are yet to play at this venue.

Head to Head Record

The Rams beat the Cardinals in early December 38-28 and hold an 8-2 advantage since 2015.

Washington Football Team (6-9) at Philadelphia Eagles (4-10-1)

Incredibly, the 6-9 Redskins can reach the playoffs by simply beating the Eagles this Monday afternoon. It’s been a season full of off-field distractions for this team and it’s no different in Week 17, especially at QB. They’ve cut former first round pick Dwayne Haskins and Alex Smith will likely play through a calf injury. After scoring just 15 and 13 points in back to back games, they need to give their defence some kind of production if they’re looking to reach the postseason.

The Eagles are playing for pride in Week 17 after back to back defeats to the Cardinals and Cowboys. But they’d love to end a disappointing season by ending Washington’s playoff dream. Jalen Hurts will get the start at QB once again and the rookie will need to do a better job with limiting turnovers. However, he’s proven to be a great dual-threat QB thus far and that should give Washington’s defence plenty of problems.

If QB Alex Smith can suit up for Washington, it would be an epic comeback story (not that it hasn't already been) considering the injuries he's battled back from. But ultimately, the Under has saluted in 5 of their last 6 games and we can't see many points in this one either. Washington is missing key WR Terry McLaurin and have plenty of other injury problems. Meanwhile, the Under is 11-3 in the Eagles last 14 home games and they should struggle to score points/limit turnovers against a solid Washington defence.

Stadium Record

Philadelphia have been average at home this season with a 3-3 and a tie. Washington has lost 5 of their last 7 in Philly.

Head to Head Record

Washington won the first meeting of the season 27-17. But the Eagles have won 6 of the last 10 meetings.
