NFL Tips & Betting Preview Week 15 | BlueBet

New York Jets at Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore will be after a 10th straight win this Friday as they host the 5-8 Jets. With an 11-2 record, the Ravens currently have home field advantage in the AFC and they'll be well favoured to beat the inconsistent Jets. Over the last 2 weeks, the Ravens have faced back to back tests against the 49ers and Bills where they're played great team football to get over the line. They've also only lost once at home this season (5-1) and hold an 11-0 record in home night games. For the Jets, they're a much better home team with a 4-3 record but have struggled on the road (1-5). Last time away from New York, they lost to the winless Bengals by a fair margin and it's hard to see them upsetting the Ravens juggernaut. They've historically struggled in Baltimore with a 1-4 ATS record and 2-6 ATS at any venue. However, we do like the chances of the Under with the Ravens defence playing at a very high level and the Jets offence will likely struggle to move the chains. Under is 5-1 when the Ravens are home favourites and 4-1 in December. Jets are 9-4 against the Under when playing on the road against a team with a winning record.

Stadium Record

The Jets have lost their last 5 games in Baltimore since 2000. Baltimore holds a 5-1 home record this season.

Head to Head Record

Baltimore has owned this head to head with 8 wins in the last 10 meetings since 1997.

Los Angeles Rams at Dallas Cowboys

Dallas can't play much worse at this point after 3 straight defeats and they're chances of playoffs are slipping away. They're currently tied with the Eagles at 6-7 apiece so the stakes are high against the Rams. They continue to be strong passing the ball but that happens when you're constantly chasing the opposition. Their defence gave up 31 points against the Bears mediocre offence last week so they just need to be better. The Rams are suddenly back in the race for the NFC playoffs after a huge 28-12 upset over Seattle. Since losing 45-6 against the Ravens, they've now outscored the Cardinals/Seahawks 62-19. It helps that Jared Goff is back in form and the Rams offence has been hard to stop as result. The defence is also benefiting from the extra time on the sidelines and they'll look to stop the influence of Cooper/Elliott in this one. Hard to back against the Rams at the moment even though it's in Dallas. The Cowboys are melting under the December pressure and hold a 1-7 ATS record when playing a side with a record above .500.

Stadium Record

The Rams travelled to Dallas in 2017 and beat them 35-30. The Cowboys are 3-3 at home this season.

Head to Head Record

Los Angeles has won the last 2 meetings 30-22 and 35-30.

Best Bet

Rams -1.5 $2.00

Buffalo Bills at Pittsburgh Steelers

Monday's feature game sees an important AFC clash between the two current wildcard teams as the 8-5 Steelers take on the 9-4 Bills. Pittsburgh returns home in Week 15 after a nice road win over the Cardinals and they've now won 3 straight games. Despite injuries to their key offensive players, the Steelers defence has really stepped up lately. Which included 3 picks and 5 sacks last week in Arizona. While on offence, they're running the ball with a committee without James Conner. There's also a good chance Juju Smith Schuster will return from injury. For the Bills, they're 3 game winning streak ended with a close 24-17 loss at home against Baltimore. Josh Allen had a tough game with 6 sacks and a fumble lost. But he'll face another challenge against this Steelers defence. So they'll look to lean on Devin Singletary in the running game and their defence, which kept the Ravens running game in check. In the end, we can't look past the Steelers on their home turf in a huge game for their playoff chances. They're 5-1 ATS at home and 6-2 ATS against the AFC. Meanwhile, they've covered in 5 of the last 6 meetings with Buffalo.

Stadium Record

The Bills have only played at this venue twice since 2007 with two defeats - 26-3 and 23-10. Pittsburgh is 5-1 at home this season.

Head to Head Record

Pittsburgh has owned the Bills since 1996 with an 8-1 record at any venue.

Best Bet

Steelers -1.5 $1.87

Indianapolis Colts at New Orleans Saints

The 10-3 Saints are back at home this Tuesday as they host the 6-7 Colts. After an epic clash with the 49ers in the 48-46 loss, the Saints will look to continue to pile on the points. Drew Brees had 5 TD passes, Jared Cook caught 2 TDs and Michael Thomas continued his great season with 11 catches/134 yards/1 TD. While they're offence was great, the defence continues to struggle with the passing game after allowing 384 passing yards last game. But they should find it a bit easier against the injury riddled Colts. It looks like injuries have finally taken a toll with this Colts team after 3 straight defeats. They're playoff hopes are basically over so with a 6-7 record and their defence will need to be on their game. They allowed 38 points to another NFC South team in the Bucs last week as Winston tossed 4 TD passes. So a matchup with Drew Brees and this dynamic offence spells trouble. Considering both teams were involved in high scoring totals last week (over 60 points), we like the Over in this matchup. The Over has saluted in 4 of the Colts last 5 games in New Orleans and that includes a 62-7 defeat in 2011. The Saints also have a nice 5-1 Overs record in Tuesday games.

Stadium Record

New Orleans holds a 5-2 home record this season. Since 2001, the Colts have a 1-2 record in New Orleans.

Head to Head Record

In the last 8 meetings, the Saints have a 6-2 record against the Colts, including their Super Bowl victory over them in 2010.
