2022 NFL Week 13 Betting Predictions

Week 13 of the NFL season starts with an AFC East battle in Foxborough as the 6-5 Pats host the 8-3 Bills.

Buffalo Bills (8-3) at New England Patriots (6-5)

The Bills survived a close game against the Lions on Thanksgiving and made in 2 straight wins in Detroit over a 5-day span. In a tough AFC East division race this year, this is a must-win for the Bills and they'll be confident considering they've won the last 2 meetings. The Josh Allen to Diggs combination will be one of the key areas for the Bills after the Pats defence was less than impressive last week. Buffalo are scoring 28 points per game, ranked 2nd in the league. While on defence, they're allowing just 18 points per game and have the 7th best run defence.

The Patriots 3 game winning streak came to end in Minnesota last Friday in a tough loss. Their offence had one of their best games of the season as Mac Jones tossed 382 yards / 2 touchdowns. However, their defence didn't come to play as the Vikings scored with ease in the 33-26 result. They face another tough challenge against the likes of Diggs and Davis in the Bills passing game. But with the Pats passing game showing some life, they should be confident that their defence can return. They've given up 6 total points in their last 2 home games against the Colts/Jets.

This should be a fierce battle between divisional rivals and a high-scoring affair looks to be the best bet. The Over is 4-2 in this matchup and both sides are coming off scoring 26+ pts. Over is also 8-3 in New England.

Stadium Record

New England is 7-3 in their last 10 at home. Buffalo are 4-2 ATS in their last 6 at Gillette Stadium.

Head to Head Record

The Bills have won the last 2 meetings but the Pats are 6-4 since 2017.

Best Bet

Over 44.5 = $2.02

Indianapolis Colts (4-7-1) at Dallas Cowboys (8-3)

The Colts are back on primetime in Week 13 and they'll look to bounce back from 2 straight defeats. They've had their chances against the Eagles & Steelers in the last 2 weeks. But overall, it's been a disappointing 4-7-1 season for this team. Their offence is scoring just 15 points per game and it's hard to see that improving against a very solid Cowboys defence. Matt Ryan had a rough game against the Steelers so it'll be up to their running game through Taylor. He's coming off 86 rushing yards and a score against Pittsburgh.

The Cowboys rallied to beat the Giants last week for their 2nd straight win. Their running game was dominant through the one-two punch of Elliott and Pollard. Meanwhile, Shultz caught 2 touchdown passes in the 3rd quarter and CeeDee Lamb continued his fine season with 106 receiving yards. They have another good matchup against a Colts defence that struggles to stop the run. While on defence, the Cowboys are allowing just 17 points per game and should be able to force turnovers against a mediocre Colts offence.

This has blowout written all over it with the Cowboys high-powered offence on home turf. They're 4-1 ATS at home and it's hard to see the Colts struggling offence scoring enough points to keep up.

Stadium Record

Dallas are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games. Indianapolis lost 42-7 in their only game at this venue in 2014.

Head to Head Record

The Colts lead the head-to-head 4-3 since 1996.

Best Bet

Dallas Cowboys -10.5 = $1.87

New Orleans Saints (4-8) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-6)

The Saints couldn't get much going last week as they were shut out by the 49ers in the 13-0 result. But there's still a chance of playoffs because of the weak NFC South and this is a game they must win. The key will be Alvin Kamara against this Bucs defence. They were torched by Chubb last week so the Saints will be looking for a similar performance by Kamara. While on defence, the Saints are coming off allowing just 13 pts and their pass defence should be able to generate pressure on Tom Brady.

The Bucs 2 game winning streak came to end in Cleveland as they lost in OT 23-17. It continues an inconsistent season for the Bucs but they can still win the NFC South. Brady comes off a 2 touchdown performance and found his combination with Godwin (12 catches, 110 yards, 1 TD). Rashaad White also showed good signs with Fournette on the sidelines. But overall, the Bucs are scoring just 18 points per game and they're the worst-ranked running team in the NFL. Meanwhile, their defence will look to shut down the Saints offence, especially in the running game as they struggled against Chubb last week.

The Under is a great bet with the Bucs at the moment and we like it here as well. It's 6-1 in their last 7 games and also 4-1 when they play the Saints. New Orleans comes off being shutout and the Under is 11-3 in Tampa.

Stadium Record

Tampa Bay are 14-5 in their last 19 home games. New Orleans holds a 4-1 record at this venue.

Head to Head Record

The Bucs won the earlier season meeting 20-10 but the Saints are 7-3 since 2018.

Best Bet

Under 40.5 = $1.89
