NFL Tips & Betting Preview Week 13 20/21 | BlueBet

Los Angeles Rams (7-4) at Arizona Cardinals (6-5)

The pick of later games on Monday will be a battle between two teams fighting for the NFC West divisional title. For the Rams, they head to Arizona on the back of a disappointing performance against the 49ers in the 23-20 defeat. While the Rams ran the ball well behind Cam Akers, Jared Goff's 2 interceptions cost them big time in the end. They're still in the boxseat for a playoff berth but a loss to the Cardinals would be damaging.

Meanwhile, Arizona also played in a sloppy loss in New England as the Patriots won via a 50 yard field goal as time expired. Kyler Murray's shoulder issue is a big problem for the Cardinals after he's not shown the same impact in this 2 game losing streak. So they'll look for their defence to create turnovers against Goff and they did pick off Newtown twice last week. However, they may struggle to move the ball against a Rams defence that's very good against the run and pass.

Both teams were sloppy last week and we'd expect defence to rule this matchup as Goff/Murray struggle to move the chains. So we do like the chances of a very low scoring game, which is the trend in this matchup. The Under is 11-5 at this venue when the Cardinals meet the Rams. Los Angeles also has a 7-1 Under record in their last 8 games.

Stadium Record

The Rams have a perfect 5-0 record at this venue since 2015. Arizona holds a poor 6-14-1 record in their last 21 home games.

Head to Head Record

Los Angeles has dominated this matchup since 2015 with an 8-2 record.

Best Bet

Denver Broncos (4-7) at Kansas City Chiefs (10-1)

Unsurprisingly, the covid-hit Broncos could not match the Saints last week in the 31-3 loss. After all of their Quarterbacks were ruled out, receiver Kendall Hinton took the reins at QB and obviously struggled. However, the Broncos will take heart in their defence which forced 3 sacks and an interception. But obviously, Patrick Mahomes will pose a massive challenge here.

The Chiefs are hitting peak form in the middle of the season after 6 straight wins. In particular, Tyreek Hill had a career day against the Bucs last week with 13 catches, 269 recieving yards and 3 TDs! While the Chiefs passing game is hard to stop, the Broncos run defence isn't great so Kansas City may look to establish the run before airing it out in this matchup.

There's just too much uncertainty at the Broncos Quarterback position to predict a close game on Monday afternoon. So considering the Chiefs are 9-1 ATS against Denver and 10-2 ATS at Arrowhead Stadium, take the Chiefs by 2+ touchdowns.

Stadium Record

Kansas City is 4-1 at home this season. The Broncos are 1-4 in their last 5 games at this venue.

Head to Head Record

The Chiefs have owned the Broncos since 2015 with a 10-0 record.

Best Bet

Chiefs -13.5 $1.87

Buffalo Bills (8-3) at San Francisco 49ers (5-6)

The Bills control their destiny in the AFC East as they simply need to keep winning and this divisional title is finally theirs. In last week's 27-17 win over the Chargers, it was a case of two contrasting halves of football. They dominated the first half as they headed to half-time with a 17-6. But they were poor in the second half as the Chargers mounted a comeback. So the key for the Bills will be improving their consistency before the playoffs begin.

Meanwhile, San Francisco snapped a 3 game losing streak with a huge 23-20 win over the LA Rams. Deebo Samuel continually beat the Rams defence with 11 catches / 133 recieving yards and Robbie Gould hit the game winning field goal as time expired. The defence also made life hard for Goff with 2 key interceptions.

With this game being played at a neutral venue in Arizona, the 49ers are really at a disadvantage. However, their running game should be able to have success against the Bills mediocre run defence. While on the Bills side, they did put up 30 points in a recent matchup with the Cardinals at this venue. So ultimately, we do like the chances of the Over as both sides should have success converting when they reach the red-zone. The Over also has a nice 4-2 record in this matchup and the Bills are 8-3 against the Over in their last 11.

Stadium Record

The Bills recently lost to the Cardinals at this venue 32-30. The 49ers have a 6-8 record at this venue against Arizona.

Head to Head Record

This is the first meeting since the Bills beat the 49ers 45-16 in 2016.
