Baltimore Ravens (6-4) at Pittsburgh Steelers (10-0)
The Ravens are facing plenty of challenges as they head into this divisional Friday game. Not only are they heading to Pittsburgh against the undefeated Steelers but they've also been hit by a number of Covid cases to some important players. Both running backs in JK Dobbins and Mark Ingram are out and there could be more carnage before kick-off. So after 2 straight defeats, it's up to Lamar Jackson to try and get this offence moving again. Which won't be an easy task against this elite Steelers defence.
Pittsburgh continued their undefeated run this season with a 10th straight victory as they crushed the Jags 27-3. It was one of their best defensive displays as they picked off Luton 4 times and kept the home team scoreless for 3 quarters. The Steelers are easily the best team in the league for points allowed and that'll be the key against Baltimore. Meanwhile, their offence should have success against a Ravens team that allowed 30 points to the Titans last week.
With so much uncertainty surrounding the Ravens, it's tough to back against the Steelers at home as they look for an 11-0 start and they also beat the Ravens recently 28-24. However, we do like the Under considering both sides are ranked in the top 3 for points allowed and the wet Pittsburgh weather conditions should make it tough for the passing game.
Stadium Record
Baltimore has a nice 4-2 record in Pittsburgh. The Steelers are undefeated in their 5 home games this year.
Head to Head Record
Pittsburgh won the last meeting earlier this month 28-24. But since 2015, the head to head is squared at 5-5.
Best Bet
Chicago Bears (5-5) at Green Bay Packers (7-3)
Once again, the Bears are in a primetime matchup in Week 12 but their form is making them unbearable to watch (pun intended). Before last week's bye, they've lost 4 straight games and also lost Nick Foles to injury in their 19-13 loss to Minnesota in Week 10. At this stage, the Bears haven't named their starter for Monday afternoon so that's something to monitor before kick-off. While their offence has been awful, the Bears defence continues to play solid football and they'll look to stop Aaron Rodgers from tearing them apart in this matchup.
The Packers suffered a brutal loss to the Colts last week in OT as they let a 21-7 lead slip away in the 34-31 defeat. Their defence struggled to halt the Colts momentum, which is the weakest part of this team. However, they do get a good matchup against a Bears team that really struggles to establish the running game. Despite last week's loss, they'll take positives out of Aaron Rodgers 3 TD game and his combination with Davante Adams (7 catches, 106 yards, 1 td).
The only positive about the Bears is their defence and coming off a bye should help them contain the Packers dynamic offence. So we feel like this should fall under the total, especially since the Under is 8-4 between these two sides at Lambeau Field.
Stadium Record
Chicago holds a poor 1-5 record in Green Bay. The Packers are 9-1 in their last 10 home games since last season.
Head to Head Record
Green Bay holds an 8-2 advantage since 2015 and won the last meeting 21-13 at this venue.
Best Bet
Seattle Seahawks (7-3) at Philadelphia Eagles (3-6-1)
The Seahawks are back from the bye and currently sit equal first in the NFC West division with a 7-3 record. After 2 straight defeats on the road, Seattle returned home with a crucial 28-21 win over the Cardinals where their much talked about defence showed great signs. They recorded 3 sacks and plenty of pressure on Kyler Murray while also allowing their lowest points total of the season. So they'll take confidence into this matchup with the struggling Eagles.
The woeful NFC East can be summed up by the fact that the Eagles with just 3 wins currently leads the division! But similarly to the Seahawks, they're a better home team. They come into this matchup with 2 losses on the road against the Browns and Giants. QB Carson Wentz had another tough day in Cleveland with 2 interceptions and 5 sacks. So the Eagles will need to protect him in this matchup otherwise the Seahawks rejuvenated defence will take advantage.
Interestingly, the last 2 meetings have been played in Philadelphia and they've both finished with a 17-9 scoreline. At the moment, the Eagles aren't scoring free flowing points and we feel this will be another low scoring affair. So considering the Under is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings at this venue and 10-2 in the Eagles last 12 games, we can't see the two teams beating 50 points here.
Stadium Record
Philadelphia holds a 2-2-1 record in their 5 home games this season. Seattle has a nice 5-0 record at this venue.
Head to Head Record
Since 2002, the Seahawks have dominated this head to head battle with an 8-2 record.
