NFL Tips & Betting Preview Week 11 | BlueBet

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns

With 4 straight wins, the 5-4 Pittsburgh Steelers are on track for a playoff berth and they’ll look to continue their dominance of the Browns. They’ve won 8 of the last 10 meetings (1 tie) and really look back to their best. Last week, they beat the Rams at home 17-12 and didn’t allow a single offensive TD. There’s also a good chance regular starting RB James Conner will be back from injury. Cleveland must win this clash otherwise, it’s pretty much season over with their 3-6 record. They kept their hopes alive last week with a 3 point home win over the Bills as Kareem Hunt made a successful return to the NFL. Mayfield also tossed 2 TD passes with Jarvis Landry providing most of the target share. The total is set very low for this contest with the Steelers D on fire and that should see a low scoring matchup between divisional rivals. Under has saluted in 5 of the last 6 meetings in Cleveland and Pittsburgh holds a 5-1 Unders record after beating the spread. The Steelers are 8-1 against the Under on the road as well. Meanwhile, the Under has saluted in all of the Browns last 4 Friday games.

Stadium Record

Pittsburgh has a dominant 14-3-1 record in the last 18 games played in Cleveland. The Browns have been poor at home in 2019 with a 1-3 record.

Head to Head Record

The Steelers won the last meeting 33-18 and have won 8 of the last 10 contests.

New England Patriots at Philadelphia Eagles

It’s a Super Bowl re-match in Philadelphia in Week 11 as the Eagles host the Patriots. The Patriots undefeated record ended in Week 9 as the Lamar Jackson and the Ravens dominated the unusually poor Patriots defence. So after a bye, Bill Belichick will have his team ready for this road game. The week off should have benefited a few of the Pats injuries, such as Edelman. The positive out of the Ravens loss was the emergence of chemistry between newly acquired WR Sanu and the ageless Tom Brady. The defence had his worst game of the season so they’ll look to get pressure on Eagles QB Carson Wentz. With back to back wins over the Bills (31-13) and the Bears (22-14), the Eagles are suddenly back in the race for the NFC East title. The key in this clash with the Patriots will be exposing their average run D with the one-two punch between Howard and Sanders. The Eagles defence is showing good signs against the pass and that’ll be the key in stopping Tom Brady. The Eagles seem to be a bogey side for the Patriots after 2 straight wins and the 41-33 upset in the Super Bowl a few seasons ago. So we like the Eagles on their home turf to keep this one close and maybe cause an upset. The underdog is 6-1 ATS between these two teams and the Patriots have failed to cover in 4 of the last 5 meetings with Philadelphia.

Stadium Record

The Eagles are dominating at home with a 6-1 record. New England has won their last 2 in Philadelphia dating back to 2005.

Head to Head Record

Since 1999, the Patriots hold a 4-3 advantage and the two sides are 1-1 against each other in the 2 Super Bowl meetings.

Chicago Bears at Los Angeles Rams

Chicago returned to the winners list in Week 10 with a close win over the Lions, 20-13. So with a 4-5 record, the Bears will hope they can string a few wins together if they’re wanting to reach the playoffs. Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky finally got his offence going with 3 touchdown passes. But he’ll likely find it a bit tougher against the Rams D. Los Angeles suffered a close loss to the Steelers last week and their season is quickly fading away after each defeat. Their offence was woeful in Pittsburgh as they scored just 3 points and in fact, the Rams defence outscored them 9-3! So Jared Goff needs to find some rhythm with his offence and Todd Gurley will need more touches in the running game. With the Rams struggling to score points, the Bears defence should take advantage and keep Chicago in this road game for the 4 quarters. Historically, the Bears play well against them with a 4-1 ATS record and they defeated them last season 15-6.

Stadium Record

Los Angeles holds a 2-2 home record and lost 20-7 in their latest game at the Coliseum. Chicago is yet to play at this venue since 1990.

Head to Head Record

Chicago has won 6 of the last 7 meetings and beat them 15-6 last season.

Best Bet

Bears +6.5 $1.94

Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Chargers

The NFL heads back to Mexico in Week 11 as the 6-4 Chiefs meet the 4-6 Chargers in an AFC West battle. The Chiefs are coming off a high scoring loss in Tennessee (35-32) as their defence couldn’t stop the run all game. They allowed 188 yards to Derrick Henry and 2 scores. But the good news for KC was the return of Mahomes and he didn’t slow down after a knee injury kept him out for a few weeks. He finished with 3 touchdown passes and Tyreek Hill saw a massive 19 targets (11 catches, 157 yards, 1 TD). So the Chiefs will look to improve on defence as they look for another divisional victory. Another close loss for the Chargers in Week 10 as the Raiders outlasted them in Oakland 26-24. It’s been the story of the season for LA so it basically means they’ll have to win most (if not all) of their remaining 6 games to reach the playoffs. The defence took a step back after allowing 11 points against the Packers. But the Chargers running game is well suited to exploit the Chiefs average run D. The Chiefs have dominated this rivalry with 9 wins in the last 10. However, the last 2 meetings have easily covered the 50.5 point total and this looks like another high scoring affair. Both sides struggle to stop the running game so that should open up the field for Rivers and Mahomes to put up plenty of points. Over is also 5-0 involving the Chiefs after they allow 350+ total yards and the Over is 8-2 in their last 10 games away from Kansas City.

Stadium Record

Both sides have never played at this venue.

Head to Head Record

Los Angeles finally ended a 9 game losing streak against the Chiefs with a 29-28 win last December.
