2022 NFL Week 11 Betting Predictions
Week 11 of the NFL season starts with the underdog Titans looking to upset the Packers at Lambeau Field.
Tennessee Titans (6-3) at Green Bay Packers (4-6)
The Titans are 6-1 in their last 7 games, with their only loss being a close 3-point defeat against the Chiefs. Last week, their defence was once again the difference maker as they held the Broncos scoreless in the second half of the 17-10 result. They also recorded 6 sacks and will look for the same kind of pressure against Rodgers. They also got Tannehill back from injury and he tossed 2 touchdowns to Westbrook-Ikhine. Derrick Henry was quiet in the running game but he gets a favourable matchup against the Packers defence that's ranked 26th in the NFL for rushing yards allowed.
The Packers kept their season alive with a crucial 31-28 win over the Cowboys in OT last week. After falling behind 28-14, the Packers scored the last 17 pts as Aaron Rodgers tossed 3 touchdown passes to Christian Watson. It's been a tough season for Rodgers but hopefully for the Pack, this performance gives him more confidence throwing the football going forwards. However, the Packers defence against the running game has struggled for most of the season and they'll need to quell the influence of Derrick Henry in this matchup.
There's merit in a Titans upset on the road mainly due to their running game having a good matchup. Derrick Henry should be a handle for this Packers defence. They've also covered in their last 7 games and hold a 4-0 ATS record on the road. Green Bay have a decent record at home this season but have won 2 games via OT. Their offence has generally struggled to score points and the Titans defence should give them similar problems.
Stadium Record
Green Bay holds a 3-2 record at home this season. Tennessee are 3-0 at this venue since 2001.
Head to Head Record
Best Bet
Kansas City Chiefs (7-2) at Los Angeles Chargers (5-4)
The Chiefs easily accounted for the Jaguars last week 27-17 and extended their winning streak to 3 games. Mahomes finished with 4 touchdown passes and continues to share the ball around. Kelce finished with 81 yards and a score. Meanwhile, Toney found the endzone for the first time as a Chief. With JuJu possibly out with a concussion, Toney should get more opportunities against the Chargers defence. Los Angeles are giving 25 points per game and struggled against the run. While the Chiefs aren't the strongest running team, Isiah Pacheco comes off 82 rushing yards and has taken over the starting RB role. Defensively, the Chiefs are the 5th best team against the run and that should help them force Herbert into a shootout with Mahomes.
The Chargers went down to the 49ers last week 22-16 as they were shut out in the second half. Their offence has plenty of injury problems with the likes of Allen and Williams out. So they'll be desperate to get their WR duo back for this contest. However, DeAndre Carter showed a good connection with Herbert last week. Meanwhile, Austin Ekeler didn't have much success against the 49ers and doesn't get a great matchup against the Chiefs either. While on defence, the Chargers have struggled against the run this season and will need to improve in this matchup to keep Mahomes on the sidelines.
With the Chargers injury issues, it's hard to see them scoring enough points to keep up with Mahomes and the Chiefs. Kansas City has also covered in 8 of the last 9 games in Los Angeles and they should win this by 7+ points as well.
Stadium Record
Los Angeles are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 at home. Kansas City is 5-0 at this venue against the Chargers.
Head to Head Record
The Chiefs won the first meeting of the season 27-24 and hold a 7-3 record in the last 10.
Best Bet
Kansas City Chiefs -6.5 = $1.89
San Francisco 49ers (5-4) at Arizona Cardinals (4-6)
The 49ers are back on primetime after a huge 22-16 win over the Chargers. They outscored them 12-0 in the second half as their defence dominated. This year, the 49ers defence is allowing just 18 points per game and their ranked #1 in the NFL for rushing yards allowed. While on offence, their running game was hard to stop as Elijah Mitchell returned from injury and McCaffrey found the endzone. They also got Deebo Samuel back from injury. So their offence should give the Cardinals defence a lot of headaches, especially after they're allowed 25 points per game this season.
The Cardinals got a much-needed win last week as they outlasted the Rams 27-17. They were without Kyler Murray due to injury and Colt McCoy played well in his absence. Murray is dealing with a hamstring injury and he'll be questionable for this matchup. However, the victory was soured by a season-ending knee injury to TE Zach Ertz. So Hopkins and Moore will be even more important in the passing game. The WR duo combined for 19 catches and 192 yards last week, so that's a good sign in a tough matchup against the 49ers. Defensively, the Cards have struggled this year, highlighted by allowing 30+ pts in 3 of their last 4. So it's hard to see that improving against a very balanced 49ers offence.
The 49ers are heavy favourites in this NFC West rivalry matchup and with Cardinals QB Kyler Murray under an injury cloud, it's hard to disagree. San Fran are 5-0 ATS against the division and 9-2 ATS when facing an NFC rival. Their offence should prove too strong for a Cardinals defence that has generally struggled this season.
Stadium Record
Both sides played at this venue in 2005 and the Cardinals won 31-14.
Head to Head Record
The Cardinals have owned this divisional rivalry with 7 wins in the last 10 meetings.
