NFL Tips & Betting Preview Week 10 | BlueBet

Los Angeles Chargers at Oakland Raiders

A divisional rivalry between the 4-4 Raiders and 4-5 Chargers starts Week 10 and the stakes are high for either side. The Raiders earned a much needed win over the Lions last week (31-24) and snapped a 2 game losing streak in the process. Raiders RB Josh Jacobs continues to impress after a 120 yards against the Lions, making it 3 out of 4 games that he's rushed for 100+. He'll have another decent matchup against the Chargers 20th ranked run D. Raiders QB Derek Carr has enjoyed a favourable 3 game stretch with 9 TD passes but he will face a challenge with this Chargers pass D, which stopped Aaron Rodgers last week. The Chargers playoff hopes have risen after back to back wins over the Bears and Packers. Last week's 26-11 home win over the in-form Packers was a great sign. Their offence showed better signs, especially RB Melvin Gordon after his preseason holdout. They have a nice one-two punch at RB and that's easing the pressure on the Rivers. So they'll look to continue their defensive dominance on the road to Oakland. Last season, both meetings saw the Under salute and this looks like a similar type of game. In fact, the Under has hit in all of the last 5 meetings. Chargers are also 10-2 against the Under when playing the AFC West and 7-1 in their last 8 overall games.

Stadium Record

Oakland has won 5 of their last 6 games at home. The Chargers have a nice 4-1 record in Oakland.

Head to Head Record

The Chargers just hold a 6-4 edge in the last 10 meetings. But since moving to LA, they've won the last 4 meetings.

Best Bet

UNDER 48.5 $1.96

Los Angeles Rams at Pittsburgh Steelers

Los Angeles will return from the bye in Week 10 with an important matchup against the Steelers in Pittsburgh. The Rams have won back to back games over the Bengals and Falcons. But both of those teams are pretty awful. With a 5-3 record, the chances of winning the NFC West are slipping away and it'll be made tougher with star WR Brandin Cooks on the sidelines. After a number of close losses in the early season, Pittsburgh has turned the tables with 3 wins on the trot. They outlasted the Colts last week 26-24 and have now put themselves into playoff positioning. They do have issues at RB with James Conner questionable for this clash but Edmunds/Samuels showed good signs last week. The Rams haven't played a tough game for a few weeks and the Steelers will be a difficult road matchup. A home underdog is generally a good bet in the NFL and Pittsburgh is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games and 8-2-1 ATS the week after beating the spread.

Stadium Record

Pittsburgh holds an 8-3 home record since last season. The Rams last played here in 2011 and were shutout 27-0.

Head to Head Record

These two teams have only met five times since 1996 and the Steelers hold a 4-1 record.

Best Bet

Steelers +4.5 $1.82

Minnesota Vikings at Dallas Cowboys

The 6-3 Vikings will look to get back on track in Week 10 with this road game against the Cowboys. Last week, the Vikings were involved in a close affair against the Chiefs, going down by a field goal. They struggled to run the ball for one of the first times this season and their defence gave up a number of big plays. So there's a lot to improve on as they travel to Dallas. The Cowboys have thrashed the Giants and Eagles in back to back games so they'll be keen to make it 3 wins on the trot this Monday. Their offence is firing with Dak Prescott spreading the ball around and RB Ezekiel Elliott is finding plenty of open field in the running game. Their defence is also playing at a high level and they'll be confident of containing the Vikings running game along with QB Kirk Cousins. It's hard to back against the in-form Cowboys on their home turf. They've scored 37 points in back to back games and have only allowed a total of 28 points on defence. The Vikings have a few injury issues and they weren't great against the undermanned Chiefs last week. Cowboys are 8-1 at home in their last 9 and should beat the Vikings.

Stadium Record

Since 2000, the Vikings are 1-2 in Dallas. The Cowboys have a 3-1 home record this season.

Head to Head Record

The last meeting was back in 2016 when the Cowboys beat the Vikings 17-15. Dallas has won the last 2 meetings since 2013.

Best Bet

Cowboys WIN $1.58

Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers

After an 8-0 start, the 49ers put their undefeated record on the line with an expected close affair against Seattle this Tuesday. Last time out, the Cardinals almost pulled off a miracle but the 49ers closed out a 28-25 win in Arizona. Garoppolo starred with 4 TD passes and the 49ers had nice success on the ground again. The concern will be their run D which has allowed 3 straight 100+ rushing yards to opposing RB's. So they'll look to stop Seahawks RB Chris Carson and force QB Russ Wilson into mistakes. They should be confident of containing the Seahawks passing game with their number 1 ranked defence against the pass in 2019 (138 yards per game). With the Seahawks sitting just behind the 49ers in the division and an upcoming bye in Week 11, Seattle will be throwing everything at a win this Tuesday. They've won 5 of their last 6 games and that includes an OT shootout against the Bucs at home in Week 9 (40-34). Wilson finished with 5 TD passes and Lockett/Metcalf both recorded over 100 receiving yards. They'll likely look to exploit the 49ers run D at the moment with Chris Carson and he's coming off another 100+ rushing yard game. The value in this one looks to be the Seahawks at the line. They've covered in 11 of the last 15 games against the 49ers and hold an 8-2 ATS in their last 10 road games.

Stadium Record

San Francisco is 5-1 in their last 6 home games. Seattle has beaten them in 4 of the last 5 games here.

Head to Head Record

Seattle has dominated this NFC West battle with 10 wins in the last 11 meetings.

Best Bet

Seahawks +6.5 $1.92
