NBA Tips & Betting Preview | Tuesday 15 March

Denver Nuggets (40-28) at Philadelphia 76ers (41-25)

The Nuggets come off back to back 10+ defeats against both the Raptors and Warriors in Denver. But they'll look to continue their winning ways on the road when they travel to Philadelphia. Overall, they've won their last 5 road games and hold a 7-3 record in their last 10. In injury news, they should get Aaron Gordon back for this clash after he missed Sunday's game.

After a 116-114 win over the Magic on Monday, the 76ers will be eager for 2 straight wins as they meet the Nuggets. Joel Embiid comes off scoring 35 pts and will be keen to play well against Jokic as well. After a shocker against the Nets on Friday, Harden bounced back with 26 pts against the Magic. In terms of injuries, they just have Danny Green out but otherwise, the squad is looking healthy.

Both teams aren't in the best form at the moment and that should result in a fairly low scoring affair. The Under has a good trend in this matchup as well. It's 5-1 when these two teams meet and Denver is 5-2 against the Under on the road.

Stadium Record

The 76ers are 5-2 in their last 7 home games. The Nuggets are 1-3 at this venue since 2018.

Head to Head Record

Philadelphia won the first meeting of the season 103-89 and hold a 6-4 record in the last 10.

Best Bet

Under 221.5 = $1.85

Milwaukee Bucks (42-26) at Utah Jazz (42-25)

The Bucks struggled defensively on Sunday as the Warriors broke their winning streak with a 122-109 result. They'll likely face a similar challenge against the Jazz, a team that has beaten them twice this season. However, Milwaukee's offence continues to play well as they're averaging 125 points per game in their last 5. So we give them a good chance of keeping up with the Jazz if this becomes a fast-paced contest.

Utah is 9-0 at home and they'll look to make it 10 straight victories when they meet the Bucks on Tuesday. Last time out, Jordan Clarkson exploded for 45 pts against the Kings in the 134-125 result. However, they wouldn't be happy with their defence after giving up 125 pts and that should be a focus against Milwaukee. They were without Gobert on Sunday but he should be able to return from a foot injury and his defence will be key against the likes of Giannis.

With the Jazz looking for 10 straight home wins, they look great value to continue the streak against Milwaukee. With Gobert expected back from injury, their defence should be much better. Meanwhile, the Bucks are yet to beat the Jazz this season and their recent defensive issues against Golden State should see them struggle against Utah as well.

Stadium Record

The Jazz have won 9 straight home games. Milwaukee has lost their last 5 at this venue.

Head to Head Record

Utah has won both meetings this season by an average of 8 pts.

Best Bet

Utah Jazz Win = $2.08

Washington Wizards (29-37) at Golden State Warriors (46-22)

The Wizards are 0-3 on this road trip so they'll need a quick turnaround, especially against the Warriors. Defensively, the Wizards are having plenty of issues containing points as they've allowed 120 points per game in their last 5. With an offence that's missing the injured Bradley Beal, it's tough-going at the moment. However, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope comes off 26 pts against Portland and will be looking to continue the momentum into Tuesday's game.

Led by Klay Thompson's 38 points, the Warriors made a statement on Sunday with a 122-109 win over the defending champs. Jordan Poole also provided support with 30 pts. They've now their last 3 games and hold a 7-3 record in their last 10 home games. There should be more good news in terms of injuries as Draymond Green is expected to return from injury. However, he will likely be on a minutes restriction, especially against a struggling team.

With the Wizards giving up plenty of points, we like the Overs in what should be a high scoring affair. Overall, the Over is 5-0 in their last 5 games and 4-1 on the road. In this matchup when the Warriors are the home team, the Over is also 4-1.

Stadium Record

The Warriors have won 16 of their last 21 home games. Washington are 2-5 on the road against Golden State.

Head to Head Record

This is the first meeting of the season. Since 2017, the Warriors have won 6 of the 10 meetings.

Best Bet

Over 225.0 = $1.91
