NBA Tips & Betting Preview | Tuesday 08 June

Milwaukee Bucks at Brooklyn Nets

The Bucks defence struggled to keep up in the Game 1 loss 115-107 defeat so we'll see what adjustments they can make in Game 2. But the mainstay of their offence is Antetokoumpo and he didn't let his team down with 34 points and 11 rebounds. However, Middleton will need to improve his shooting after going 6 of 28 and Holiday struggled as well, going 9 of 28.

Meanwhile, the Nets lost James Harden early in Game 1 but they remained composed and took apart the Bucks in a clinical display. Durant continued his impressive playoff career with 29 points and Kyrie Irving supported him with 25 points. They also got excellent production from the veteran Blake Griffin as he finished with 18 points and 14 rebounds. So with Harden out for Game 2 with a hamstring injury, expect the likes of Griffin, Harris, James and Brown to get a good run in the rotation.

While you would expect a high scoring affair between these two sides, the Nets showed their defensive effort in Game 1 and we can see another tight playoff game on Tuesday. So look for the Under to salute as it's now 4-2 in this matchup at this venue.

Stadium Record

The Nets are now 5-0 in their last 5 home games. The Bucks hold an 8-2 head to head record at this venue.

Head to Head Record

Denver Nuggets at Phoenix Suns

The Nuggets survived a tough series against the Trail Blazers and Damian Lillard so they'll look to continue their winning ways against the Suns. Overall, the Nuggets have won the last 4 meetings in Phoenix so they'll be very confident. Injury wise, they'll still be without Murray, Barton and Dozier. But Jokic and Porter Jr. have both been the key with the ball in their hands.

The Suns ended the Lakers title defence with an impressive 4-2 series victory. They kick off this series on their home court and the trio of Paul, Booker and Ayton will be the focus. Booker dominated the Lakers for most of the series and he'll enjoy facing the Nuggets with a few injuries to their guard rotation. Paul has struggled with his shoulder and that probably won't change in this series. Meanwhile, the battle between Ayton and Jokic will be something to watch as the series rolls on.

This should be a close series and the Nuggets do look good value in Game 1. They've won the last 4 meetings at this venue and also hold a 7-3 ATS record in Phoenix.

Stadium Record

The Suns are 16-2 in their last 18 home games. The Nuggets hold a nice 9-1 record at this venue.

Head to Head Record

Denver has the wood over the Suns as they've won 8 of the last 10.
