Cleveland Cavaliers (38-22) at Philadelphia 76ers (37-19)
The Cavs head to Philly on the back of an impressive 7 game-winning streak and it's all about Donovan Mitchell. He's coming off 41 pts against the Spurs and is now averaging 33.3 pts in his last 3 outings. Cleveland has also won their last 3 on the road, which is an area they've struggled in this season. So they'll head to Philadelphia with confidence, especially after beating them 113-85 in January.
The 76ers are also in winning form having won their last 3. They thrashed the Rockets by 19 on Tuesday and previously beat the Nets/Knicks. Harden led the way against his old side on Tuesday with 28 pts and he's now scored 25+ in 3 of his last 4. Embiid was given a bit of a rest against Houston and remains questionable with an injury but he's been playing through it.
Both sides can show up defensively so we like the Under in this matchup. It's 9-4 in the last 13 meetings in Philadelphia. Cleveland are 5-1 against the Under on the road as well.
Stadium Record
Philadelphia are 7-3 in their last 10 at home. Cleveland has lost 5 of their last 6 at this venue.
Head to Head Record
The 76ers are 6-4 in the last 10 meetings but the Cavs won the only meeting this season by 28 pts.
Best Bet
Miami Heat (32-26) at Brooklyn Nets (33-24)
The Heat will be looking to bounce back against the Nets after a 4 pt loss against the Nuggets on Tuesday. Injuries haven't helped their cause as the likes of Herro, Lowry and Oladipo are all out at the moment. So Butler and Adebayo are the keys. Butler comes off scoring 24 against the Nuggets and fell an assist short of a triple-double.
The Nets lost their 2nd straight game on Tuesday as they went down to the Knicks by 18. They couldn't stop Brunson on defence but Spencer Dinwiddie played well for the Nets with 28 pts. As expected, they're going to struggle to win games without Durant/Irving and it also doesn't help that Simmons has lost all confidence. He played just 12 minutes against the Knicks and has now become a bench role player. Cam Thomas has also dropped off since returning to the bench as he's scored just 21 total pts in his last 2 games.
With the Nets struggling to adjust after trading Durant/Irving, the Heat should win this comfortably. They're also 12-5 ATS in Brooklyn and the Jimmy Butler should be hard to stop.
Stadium Record
Brooklyn hold a 2-3 record in their last 5 home games. Miami are 12-5 at this venue in their last 17.
Head to Head Record
The head to head is locked at 5-5 since 2020.
Best Bet
Dallas Mavericks (31-28) at Denver Nuggets (40-18)
The Mavs are coming off back-to-back defeats so they'll look to get back on track against Denver. However, Doncic and Irving both come off scoring 30+ pts against the T-Wolves and they'll be hoping that combination can continue. They also should head to Denver with confidence after winning all 3 meetings this season. In terms of injuries, Wood, Hardaway and Bullock are all questionable so their starting lineup could change before tip-off.
The Nuggets are seeking a 3rd straight victory after wins over the Heat/Hornets. Jokic scored 27 pts in the win over the Heat on Tuesday and just fell short of a triple-double. They were without Murray and Gordon with injuries. Both players are questionable for this matchup as well so that will be something to monitor before tip-off. They'll be looking for some revenge against the Mavs after losing all 3 games against them this season.
The last 2 meetings have been decided by a point so this figures to be another close affair. Ultimately, the Mavs are 5-1 ATS in Denver and the Doncic/Irving combination should keep them in the contest.
Stadium Record
Denver are 9-1 in their last 10 at home. Dallas has won 4 of their last 5 in Denver.
Head to Head Record
The Mavs have won 7 of the last 10 since 2020.
