Washington Wizards (32-37) at Atlanta Hawks (38-31)
The Wizards will be out for revenge after a 1 point loss against the Hawks on Tuesday. Backed by another triple-double by Westbrook (28 pts, 13 rebounds, 21 assists), the Wizards outscored the Hawks 45-29 in the last quarter but a slow 3rd quarter ultimately cost them. However, they should be very confident of competing with the Hawks again.
Meanwhile, the Hawks can almost secure the #4 seed in the East with another win over the Wizards. In the 125-124 result over the Wizards on Tuesday, their offence fired between Trae Young (36 pts), Collins (28 pts) and Bogdanovic (25 pts). So they'll be looking for improvement on the defensive end, especially after allowing 45 points in the last quarter.
The two sides just met a few days ago and totalled 249 points so we do like the high scoring trend between the two teams. The Over is also 5-0 in the Wizards last 5 games and 4-1 at this venue.
Stadium Record
The Hawks are a perfect 5-0 at home. Washington is 1-3 at this venue in their last 4 games.
Head to Head Record
Atlanta outlasted the Wizards 125-124 just a few days ago. In the last 10 meetings, the Hawks are 6-4.
Best Bet
San Antonio Spurs (33-35) at Brooklyn Nets (45-24)
Despite a stretch of defeats on the road, the Spurs returned home with a bang on Tuesday as they smashed the Bucks 146-125. Their offence dominated the Bucks defence, especially through DeRozan (23 pts) and Patty Mills hit 6 threes off the bench. The Nets have struggled defensively at times this season so look for the Spurs to take advantage as they look to lock up a play-in playoff spot in the West.
The Nets will be on a back to back after beating the Bulls 115-107. However, they will likely be without Kyrie Irving after he suffered an elbow to the face. So without Harden and potentially Irving, Durant will be the key on offence.
With the Nets missing a few key players, the Spurs should be tough to handle, especially after crushing the Bucks. Back the Spurs at the line to keep it close.
Stadium Record
The Nets have won 12 of their last 14 home games. San Antonio holds a nice 13-5 record at this venue.
Head to Head Record
The Nets won the earlier season meeting in March, 124-113. Since 2016, the Spurs have won 7 of 10 meetings.
Best Bet
Portland Trail Blazers (40-29) at Utah Jazz (50-19)
The Trail Blazers are heating up at the right time of the season after 4 straight wins and will enjoy the challenge against Utah. In terms of playoffs, they can finish from 5th to 7th so this is an important matchup and their key players are in good form.
Utah are sitting pretty atop the West standings but will be looking to bounce back after going down to Steph Curry and the Warriors last time out, 119-116. However, the Jazz have won their last 5 on their home court and have been a tough team to beat in Utah. Although, they'll still be without Mitchell and Conley, which may cost them defensively against Portland.
With the Jazz missing Mitchell/Conley, the Trail Blazers do look good value at the line as this should be a close affair. Lillard, McCollum and Powell should be the key on offence.
Stadium Record
The Jazz are undefeated in their last 5 home games. Portland has lost 4 of their last 5 at this venue.
Head to Head Record
In early April, the Jazz beat the Trail Blazers 122-103. The Jazz have also won 6 of the last 10 meetings.
