Memphis Grizzlies at Minnesota Timberwolves
The Grizzlies are just one win away from a meeting with the Warriors but they'll need to win on the road in Game 6. They come off a 111-109 victory in Game 5. Ja Morant bounced back from a quiet Game 4 with 30 points in Game 5 as he shot 40% from the field and he also collected 13 boards while falling short of a triple-double with 9 assists. Desmond Bane has been consistently shooting well for the Grizzlies with 25 pts last game and he's scored 25+ in 3 straight games. Brandon Clarke has also been important off the bench and he comes off a series-high 21 pts and 15 boards in Game 5. In terms of injuries, they're just missing Steven Adams and Zaire Williams is doubtful with a knee injury.
The Timberwolves beat the Grizzlies in Game 4 at this venue by 1 point and they'll need to produce a similar effort to push this series to 7 games. In the Game 5 defeat, they struggled with fouls and turnovers so they'll need to clean up their act in Game 6. However, Towns has found his scoring mojo with 28 pts last game and that followed 33 pts in Game 4. Turnovers have been his downfall after committing 7 in Game 5 so he'll look to improve. D'Angelo Russell has had a quiet scoring series as he's only passed 20 points once and comes off just 12 pts in Game 5. Beverley fouled out in Game 5 after 28 minutes but he's always pushing the boundaries in that area.
Tough game to pick with the Grizzlies looking to end the series on the road and the Timberwolves will be desperate to keep their season alive. So we'll steer clear of the head to head odds as this should be another close game that could go either way. Instead, the Under looks the best play considering it's been the trend in this series. The Under is 3-2 in the series thus far. It's also 5-2 when these two sides meet and Memphis has a good Unders record on the road at 5-2.
