NBA Dec 14 Betting Preview & Predictions

2023 NBA Dec 14 Betting Predictions

The NBA season continues on Thursday with a huge 9-game slate, headlined by the Bucks hosting the
Pacers.

Atlanta Hawks (9-13) at Toronto Raptors (9-14)The Hawks are grappling with a challenging period marked by four consecutive defeats. In their
recent matchup against the Nuggets, they suffered a 129-122 loss, with Trae Young sidelined.
However, Bogdan Bogdanovic stepped up, delivering an impressive 40-point performance.
Despite this individual effort, the Hawks have struggled defensively, allowing an average of 127
points per game in their last five outings. Their road performance has been more balanced, holding
a 5-5 record in the last ten away games. The availability of Trae Young remains uncertain, with a
questionable status due to a shoulder injury.

The Raptors have also endured four consecutive losses. While their recent record is less than
stellar, with a 1-5 ATS and a 1-6 SU in their last six and seven games, respectively, there is a
silver lining. Despite the losses, the Raptors have kept their last three defeats within a margin
of under 10 points, showcasing their competitiveness. In their latest showdown against the New York
Knicks at Madison Square Garden, they came up short by six points in a 136-130 loss. OG Anunoby led
the charge with an impressive 29 points and Dennis Schroder added 20 points to the mix. As they
return home, the Raptors boast a 5-5 record in their last ten games, and fortunately, they face no
significant injuries affecting their starting lineup.
Both sides aren't in great form but I'm sticking with the home side. They're 4-2 ATS in their last
6 and Trae Young's injury makes it tough for the Hawks.
Stadium Record

Toronto are 5-5 in their last 10 at home. Atlanta are 5-13 ATS in their last 18 games when playing
on the road against Toronto.

Head to Head Record The Hawks lead it 6-4.

Best Bet
Toronto Raptors -1.5 = $1.87

Indiana Pacers (13-8) at Milwaukee Bucks (16-7)Indiana has been on an impressive run lately, securing victories in four out of their last five
games. In their most recent clash on Tuesday, they outplayed the Detroit Pistons, clinching a
well-fought 131-123 win. The bench played a significant role, with Mathurin contributing 30 points,
including three three-pointers. The team maintains a good record on the road, boasting six wins in
their last ten away games. Their recent 128-119 triumph over the Bucks showcased stellar
performances from Tyrese Haliburton, who scored 27 points, and Myles Turner contributed 26 points.
Eager to turn the tables after a recent 128-119 loss to the Pacers, the Bucks have shown resilience
with a 3-1 record in their last four games. Their most recent win was a thrilling 133- 129 overtime
victory against the Bulls on Tuesday, with Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the charge with an
impressive 32 poin rly dominant at home,
boasting a formidable 9-1 record.

Milwaukee have an excellent 9-2 home record against the Pacers and should be keen to bounce back
after losing in the season tournament against them. Look for Giannis to lead them to victory.
Stadium Record

Milwaukee are 9-1 in their last 10 at home. Indiana are 2-9 in their last 11 games

Head to Head Record
The Bucks have won 7 of the last 10 meetings.

Best Bet
Milwaukee Bucks -5.5 = $1.82

Brooklyn Nets (12-10) at Phoenix Suns (12-10)
The Nets are coming off a convincing 131-118 loss against the Kings on Tuesday and their road trip
continues to Phoenix. The duo of Bridges and Thomas tried their best, combining for a total of 42
points. The Nets have faced challenges on the road lately, managing only a 1-4 record.
Despite this, their offence has been good, averaging 122.6 points in their last five games. The
team is heading into this upcoming game without any fresh injuries, although Ben Simmons remains
sidelined due to injury.

The Suns snapped a two-game losing streak with a solid 119-116 win against the Warriors on
Wednesday. Devin Booker led the charge with an impressive 32 points. Unfortunately for the Suns,
Kevin Durant was absent in that game and won't be hitting the court on Thursday, missing out on
facing his former team. Bradley Beal made a return, putting up 16 points in 27 minutes in the last
game. The Suns have been holding their ground at home, with a 5-5 record in their last 10 games.
Booker has been on fire, scoring 30+ points in two out of his last three games at home, and with
Durant sidelined, he's likely to shine again.
The Over looks like a good bet with the Nets involved. It's 11-2 when they play in Phoenix and they
come off giving up 130 pts. The Suns are also 5-1 against the Over on their home court.
Stadium Record

Phoenix hold a 3-2 record in their last 5 home games. Brooklyn are 1-3 in their last 4.

Head to Head Record
In the last 10, it's tied at 5-5.

Best Bet
Over 226.5 = $1.81
