BLUEY’S BEST
- KAMIEN ($2.90)
Super impressive at Moe first up, with The Executioner narrowly getting the better of him in a slog down the Heavy track. That was only his second run on Heavy tracks, but he has shown he is more than capable on them, winning his only other start. Won second up last prep in similar conditions and should be much fitter for that first up effort.
WARWICK FARM RACE 5 – 15:10 AEST
- JOY AND MIRTH ($2.90)
Joy And Mirth has been very solid this preparation so far, with her only below par run coming at Newcastle two back. She missed narrowly first up, before putting in a top performance second up behind the in-form Bound To Win. Last start, she was impressive again on a wet Kembla Grange track, winning by over a length. Harder here but gets her chance to win back to back.
- RUBAN BLEU ($3.10)
Was up against it last start at Caulfield, running against a Heavy leaders bias, however still put in a tremendous run to finish just two-and-a-half lengths from the talented Alfa Oro. The start prior, he stormed home to win impressively over I’m Telling Ya. Two solid runs on Heavy to begin the prep and he has won his only other Heavy track start. Looks suited.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
WARWICK FARM RACE 1 – 12:50 AEST
- MARSANNAY ($10)
Had two trials leading into his debut run at Kembla Grange, where he sat up near the lead but was unable to sprint as well as his rivals. I suggest he was still a bit fresh there and was subsequently spelled. He’s had two very solid trials leading in this time, which would suggest he’s come back a much improved, stronger type. This looks to be an open race and he can return a winner in his second start.
