- VIDEMANETTE ($4.80)
Interesting race here with Murrumbidgee River lining up as the red hot favourite after a very promising debut at Ballarat. Videmanette looks a much better value bet however, with the Brunton trained mare scoring an impressive 3.5L win last start at Devonport. She looks a great chance here and should have every chance to win.
- CAFE TORTONI ($8.50)
Cafe Tortoni comes up against a few lightly raced types here, but he looks substantially over the correct odds, particularly after his all-the-way victory in this grade last start at Swan Hill. He looks to get a great run on speed again here, and the booking of Campbell Rawiller sees him get in with a reasonable 58kg. Looks well over the odds.
- OUR MUSKETEER ($6.00)
Our Musketeer has risen through the grades impressively in his short career, starting off with a 5.2L defeat in maiden grade before rising up to score a BM68 win two starts ago. He put in an ordinary run last start, finishing 6L away from winner Meteorite. He did have excuses there though, pulling up with slow recovery, so I think we should see a nice bounce back performance here.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
- BOLD AND WILD ($15)
Bold And Wild looks an attractive price here in this small field; he comes into this race on the back of a solid third at Coonamble last start. Prior to that, he had some runs to forget, with his best finish being 8th since May 2020. He did however, show a lot of promise before that, scoring three consecutive wins, including a 6L demolition at Wyong. A return to his best would see him finish close here.
