CANTERBURY RACE 2 – 13:25 AEST
- TOCHI ($3.30)
Tochi looks ready to peak here after three promising runs to kick off the prep on Heavy tracks. She put in an average performance two back at Kensington, but also had two quality runs on either side of that. She’s won fourth up previously over this trip and this race looks well within her grasp.
CRANBOURNE RACE 5 – 14:45 AEST
- LUNAR FLARE ($2.15)
Has really started to hit her straps since an okay sixth first up at Ballarat. She put in tremendous sectionals the following start at Pakenham and has since followed that up with two strong wins at Sandown and Cranbourne. Stays in a similar grade here and should take some beating.
CANTERBURY RACE 6 – 15:45 AEST
- LILLEMOR ($3.60)
It’s been a long prep for Lillemor, who has now been up since April. She seems to be handling the prep well though and in fact, her last start at Rosehill was very promising - she led the entire race but was collared on the line to finish half a length away. Talented claimer Louise Day stays aboard and with a drop back in grade here I’m confident she can continue her consistent preparation.

CRANBOURNE RACE 7 – 15:55 AEST
- SUPLEX CITY ($9)
Suplex City is resuming here after a long 311-day spell. He brings a terrific first up record into this however (3: 2-1-0) so I’m confident he’ll be able to perform at a decent level. Last prep, he reached a good standard and was able to finish within 4 lengths of the talented Pippie at Caulfield. This race is much weaker than that, so something within that range should go close here.
