FLEMINGTON – RACE 4 1600m 16:40 AEDT
DIASONIC ($3.10)
Really promising return for this 3-year-old after a reasonably successful debut preparation, which included a win on debut and a narrow second in the Group 2 Sandown Guineas. Finished under half-a-length away resuming over 1400m last start but arguably should have won, as he had no run for most of the straight. 1600m should suit here and will be tough to beat.
RANDWICK – RACE 7 1800m 17:05 AEDT
SEA OF LIFE ($2.40)
Sea of Life has shown us in his past three starts that he likes the sting out of the ground, scoring back-to-back wins and a narrow second in his starts on rain affected ground. Gets another suitable track here and this doesn’t look much harder than his previous. No reason to think that he can’t make it three on the trot here.
FLEMINGTON – RACE 6 1400m 17:50 AEDT
WHAM ($3.20)
This looks a cracking race for a midweek meeting, and whilst I think that both Jumbo Ozaki and Clarice Cliffs are quality horses, I find it impossible to go past the in-form Wham, who has scored back-to-back victories over 1400m in his past two starts. He let down powerfully to score by four lengths last start and looks like a great chance again.

FLEMINGTON – RACE 7 2000m 18:25 AEDT
BIG SUR ($12.00)
Resumed this prep after a very long spell and took a couple of runs to get going as expected, before jumping up to BM84 grade at Flemington and running well in wet ground. Followed that run with another solid performance in Saturday grade last start. Should be rock hard fit now and ready to score a victory. Chance at odds.
