BLUEY’S BEST
WARWICK FARM RACE 2 – 14:05 AEDT
- CAPTIVARE ($3.70)
The Waller trained Captivare looks hard to beat first up against a lightly raced field. First up last prep, he led but shifted out late and cost himself the race. He trialled well leading into this, finishing third at Rosehill. He looks to get a good run in front here and with the assistance of James McDonald, he should be hard to beat here.
- SOUTH PARADE ($3.60)
The in-form South Parade finally got the maiden tag off his back at Bendigo two starts back, scoring an impressive 1.75L win over Zorro’s Dream. He then followed that up with a brilliant front-running performance at Sandown last start, scoring by 1L. He races in the same grade today against a small field and shouldn’t have too much pressure out in front. Will be hard to run down.
WARWICK FARM RACE 3 – 14:40 AEDT
- HEART OF PUISSANCE ($3.10)
Heart Of Puissance looks the one to beat here for the Maher/Eustace stable. He’s had three promising runs so far this prep and looks ready to win now. Last start, he sat just worse than midfield and sprinted powerfully to finish 0.5L behind Dundee Lee. Should run well again.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
WARWICK FARM RACE 6 – 16:40 AEDT
- PEYTON PLACE ($10)
Peyton Place has had an interesting career thus far, generally racing for the majority of the time and having very short spells or freshens. His last spell of more than 75 days was back in early 2019, but that hasn’t stopped him racing well during this time, scoring six wins during that time. Has been racing in good form recently, including a dominant win in the Moruya Cup three starts back. Gets a good run on pace here and might prove tough to run down.
