- TURIN WARRIOR ($5.50)
Interesting little field here, but Turin Warrior looks a solid bet at the price. He’s fourth up here today after a reasonable start to the prep and looks a great chance here. He was slow out last start at Ballarat on the synthetic, which put him on the back foot. He finished off strongly though to finish just 0.2L away from the winner. He should get a much more favourable run here and with a frantic pace expected up front, he can finish over the top of them.
WARWICK FARM RACE 5 – 15:10 AEST
- DERBARI ($3.40)
Derbari has had an honest start to begin the prep; he was a touch flat first up (was vetted) but has since followed that up with two promising second places. Two back at Canterbury he went down narrowly to Julian Rock, who was too good on the day. Last start he had an average run in transit but battled to the line bravely to finish just under half-a-length away in second. He gets his chance today and should be tough to beat.
- INFLUENTIAL JACK ($3.90)
Like the look of Influential Jack here. He’s had two starts this prep and looks ready to win here third up. He had a sound return at the Hillside course but looked to be a touch soft. Last start, he improved at the Lakeside course, finishing 2.5L away in third after settling 3 wide with cover. He looks ready to explode here third up and should be right in the finish.

WARWICK FARM RACE 7 – 16:20 AEST
- SILENT AGENDA ($9)
Favourite Promise Of Success looks very hard to beat here, but should an upset come late in the day, it might be through Silent Agenda, who batted well above his average last start. He jumped 50-1 there and performed much better than the market expected, finishing just 1.4L away. He’ll take improvement from that run and I suspect the market won’t be expecting much from him here.
