- PHOENIX GLOBAL ($3.30)
Resumed from a decent length spell three starts back and was absolutely brilliant, showcasing his ability to score by 3.75L. The following start, he missed the start, had to do a lot of work early and was never really able to get into the race. Last start, he returned to form and beat a quality field including Alfa Oro by 2L. Should take some beating here today.
- GLASSEY MISS ($3.30)
Has been terribly unlucky this prep after scoring a nice win on debut at Hamilton. Was held up at Sandown first up and finished just 1.35L away before going to Geelong and again finding little room in the straight. With clear running and even luck here, she’ll prove tough to beat today and can make amends for her past 2 starts.
WARWICK FARM RACE 7 – 16:20 AEST

Talented Godolphin horse who’s having a terrific prep so far, which has included two wins and a narrow second last start. Was last out at Warwick Farm last start before charging home to just miss Epic Dan. Back to 1200m here suits and should be able to sit closer today and should go close here again.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
- AMELIARANNE ($12)
Small field here and I’m going against the favourite Excused, who looks a touch short. I’m siding with the improving Ameliaranne; she should be able to lead them along at her own pace and control the race with Damien Oliver on board. Last start she scored a nice win at Sale after being freshened and can improve again here today.
