SANDOWN – RACE 3 1000m 16:40 AEDT
MEMPHIS ROCK ($2.90)
Interesting runner who I think can put in a very strong performance here second up. In his first up run at Flemington he was returning from the ultimate gear change (gelding) and had blinkers on for the first time. He raced well there but looked slightly underdone and couldn’t match motors with the winner late. I think he’ll improve greatly off that run and should be in the finish here.
SANDOWN – RACE 6 1300m 18:30 AEDT
KILLAVILLY ($3.80)
Kicked off his career in impressive style last prep, scoring by a whopping 8 lengths at Ballarat in his debut run. Next start found himself way up in grade and was outclassed, before dropping back down to BM64 grade the following start and scoring another win. Resumes here with weight but after Nugent’s 2kg claim I’m not too concerned. Looks to have a serious class edge on this field and if he’s come on since last prep, should be very tough to beat.
SANDOWN – RACE 8 1500m 19:30 AEDT
HEART OF PUISSANCE ($3.20)
Heart of Puissance resumes here from a spell after a narrow defeat last start in the Group 2 Sandown Guineas. Comes up against the up and coming Bacchus who looks talented, however I’m confident Heart of Puissance will have his measure. He’s aiming for the All-Star Mile this prep and will need to impress here to bolster his bid.

SANDOWN – RACE 4 2400m 17:20 AEDT
MR MONACO ($21.00)
Mr Monaco has had an up and down preparation this time around, finishing in the top twice but also putting in two forgettable performances in between. In the two runs he struggled, I think he was slightly outclassed and when he dropped back in class last start he raced well at the Sunshine Coast. This is slightly harder, but more manageable and he can put in a solid run at odds.
